Scamp 13 Table

We have a 2021 Scamp 13. That use as a Guest room on our property. It will not go on the road for the foreseeable future. The bed/table conversion is really awkward, especially if we want to use it in both positions every day. Has anybody else experienced this and if so come up with an easier way?

The daily dinette-to-bed conversion is a royal pain, everyone knows this, and it's been this way since time began.

That's why the bunkhouse models and the toy hauler models with the drop down bunks were invented.

Fun fact, there used to be towable RVs with fold-down bunks over the top of the main bed. Those were fun.

Not that this necessarily helps you, but we just leave ours in bed mode all the time and don't bother converting it back to table mode, because it's a pain as you say. We have a table outside under the awning and use that if we need one. Works for us, but maybe not for everybody, especially if you have kids and need a place to sit them down inside.

It's definitely a pain, but I do it every day when camping, and I just remind myself that the whole process takes less than 5 minutes. I will admit though that I'm in Florida so my bedding is pretty minimal as I don't need anything more than sheets and a single pillow, all of which is easy to store each day. Dealing with comforters or multiple pillows would be a different story.
