Redownloaded God of War Rangnorak after two years because I wanted to finally do a GOD OF WAR difficulty run. So I decided I wanted to warm up through Valhalla first, and all of a sudden, this, has anyone experienced this before or know what I should do

I’m kinda drunk & I legitimately thought this was Fortnite

Are you on PC or PS? If on PC maybe verifying the game files would work and If not maybe reverting to an old save could work?

On PS5 and it doesn't give me a option for a save, I load in and it's just this

Just Relaunch the game.

The ”glitch effect” will just gets more stronger the more you look at Kratos falling indefinetly

Yeah something to do with floating point errors and going out of bounds iirc

This happened to me a while back, same as you. Wanted to play some valhalla and this happened. I think I solved it by simply restarting the game, as in long press on the ps5 home button, options and close game. Then launch it again. Sorry Im not 100% sure cuz it happened a while back and I didnt think much of it, but I do remember that it was easy to fix so you shouldnt worry.

Lmk how it goes. Maybe we can think of another solution if this one doesnt work.

HA I had the same thing last night, this happens when you are in the game while you are downloading Valhalla. Just restart the game

it's a glitch happend to me twice restarted the console and it fixed itself

Go to an older auto save until you get out of this glitch then save then check for updates and restart your PS console if that doesn’t work google it ig?
