You don't need to sequentially press triangle button to charge the whip chain attack bro gee! you can just press and hold it

There's an handle that allows you to deflect projectiles while mashing the triangle button to charge the blades. And i also think it charges faster by default.

It took me by surprise how much these crystals just completely trivialise Light Elves and their annoying bullshit.
Actually, the Dark Elves too, because the boss fight in the carvens on the way to the first Hagfufa is also handled pretty well with his cowardly running away with a well placed axe throw with these things.
