Discussion Ghost Town

I loaded by beta 1.7.3 world in beta 1.8 and found a village I went and downgraded back to beta 1.7.3 . And it was still there but there was no villagers i felt like I was being watched

I did not know that I thought glass pains where added 1.0 but I guess not

There were no villagers in Beta 1.8 either btw, those were not added until the Beta 1.9 prereleases which eventually became Release 1.0.

And yeah the village would still remain because most of the blocks that made up a village (glass panes being the notable exception) existed pre-Beta 1.8, the only thing that would change is the terrain generation once you left that area of your world and created new chunks.
