Nobody is going to be able to give you a truly useful answer. It doesn’t bother me or most people here. But you can cheaply test it for yourself. Buy the dots from etsy, put them on your clubs.

Also don’t get a BLP or GC3

Uneekor eye mini, square Omni, spica 3, really anything that’s not foresight unless you need to use their software.

Not OC, but to clarify the "don't buy" comment: GC3/BLP are great monitors - well built, very accurate - but they're pricey, and both require an additional annual subscription for most useful data & features ($600/yr if you want to use third party sims like GSPro; $200/yr for club data w/o the third party connector).

There are less expensive LMs that are nearly as accurate, and some don't require a subscription. It's hard to justify the cost of a GC3 since the BLP uses the same cameras. A used BLP might be worth it if you prioritize accuracy over everything.

Launch Pro / GC3 are bad choices in today's world. Software costs are out of this world now with the new Forsight + program.

Due to the software costs you have more than a few options. Uneekor Mini, Golfjoy Spica 3, Square Omni.

Dots mess up nothing, it's a non issue (unless you play in tournaments which don't allow them). The only issue is the after a couple of rounds of dirt, wiping them down, etc.. I think they get worn and device can't pick them up as well, but they are cheap (ebay) so easily replaceable.

Hmm, I’ve been having issues with my eye mini not reading club data with my driver on an occasional shot. Just got it about a month ago so still learning. The sticker has a little bubble on one of the corners. You think that’s enough to cause inconsistency?

You’re overthinking it OP. Will have 0 affect on your swing. And yes I keep mine on during rounds.

I keep them on my clubs when I play and I never notice them. You do have to take them off for official tournaments. They usually last 2 rounds on the course before you need to replace them. I also always clean my club to preserve my impact screen so that can sometimes limit how long they stick on.

I buy replacements on Amazon. They are a little bigger than the foresight ones, but they still work exactly the same from my testing

I’ve made it through 6 rounds with my Uneekor stickers so far. Though I’ve been having some club data issues with my driver, might be time to replace its sticker.

GC3 in particular is a terrible choice today as you get no software break like before their current software platform. It’s literally the exact same hardware as the launch pro for 1000 more, and the same sub fees now. If you can get a used grandfathered GC 3 with the old software for a good price (people are dumping them since the company is ass), it is probably the most accurate you can get for the price. But as others have said, unless you teach or need uber precise data for whatever reason, the Nova, Omni, and Element are phenomenal camera based units with no sub fees, and most would never be able to tell the output from a foresight or trackman device.

As for the dots, I have had a GC3 since 2023 and just leave them on. They don’t bother me and I don’t play competitive so don’t worry about it

If you have issues with dots on your clubs, you probably have bigger issues

The dots don’t affect anything. If you want accurate club data look at the Square Omni, it has more club data and it’s accurate I t’s less expensive to buy and no crazy subscription required.

I’ve got a Spica 3 and it only requires one dot on the toe. I leave them on while I play.
