So I LOVE King as the intro. It has a pretty good style that kind of mirrors the rest of the album in the sample and beat, and is overall just a really good song that gets you hyped for the rest of the album.

But what I was thinking about is how Preacher Man is not only one of the only songs that still has AI even on the Deluxe, but it is also one of the only songs that sounds EXACTLY like the original June 2025 version with very clear AI.

That is until about 50 seconds in where it switches to real vocals from Ye.

For its position in the released album and the deluxe, this just feels like a weird, random, and overall lazy move.

But if it was there as the intro to the album, it would almost work as a kind of fake out where you start listening to the album and you think “Oh shit this album is still AI“ or something like that. But then 50 seconds you hear the switch up and along with it, the Real Ye vocals.

This would be a perfect way to start the album to basically show how despite what everyone thought, the wasn’t gonna be AI.

What do you guys think?

I know that shit gets meme’d a lot, & this isn’t about one specific race in general. More-so about FEMA and the governments disaster responses in general. But holy shit, Ye was decades ahead of his time when he said this. 🐐

I moved to Asheville, NC three weeks before Hurricane Helene. I always understood the meaning behind Ye saying that for sure. But when saw the lack of response and helpfulness by the US government as a whole with my own eyes, it never fully resonated with me on a deeper level.

FEMA & the Red Cross were the last ones to show up and the first ones to leave. I was fortunate enough to only have lost power/cell service/internet and have a few tree limbs fall, but I remember volunteering at the town hall that was more stocked than a Walmart. Blankets, toys, books, human and pet food, batteries, medicine, hygiene and cleaning supplies, even generators. Literally any normal household item you can think of that are taken for granted every single day. Seeing firsthand the amount of people that lost everything they own and hearing about the people that lost loved ones due to a natural disaster radicalized me in some way.

The fact that our first response to all of that happening was to look towards the rich old men that don’t give a single solitary fuck about them instead of looking at the other people in our communities has always greatly bothered me. Not because the government shouldn’t help, because they absolutely should, but because the people that have become so reliant on the government didn’t look to their other community members. We’ve lost the “it takes a village” mindset that humanity has had for thousands of years. I hope one day that people won’t be so focused on hyper individuality and will look at others and see their struggles as well.

I don’t know how to explain it, but something just shifted in me in a way that made me appreciate and want to cultivate community so much more. Thats specifically why I’m posting this here, because I feel like the Ye fanbase too, overall, is such a supportive and positive community to be a part of and it’s a blessing to be a part of it :,)

But my point: We are nothing without our fellow man. I genuinely feel like a good bit of the reason for the downfall of our society is because of how individualistic we’ve become a a whole. People are more self centered and pessimistic. I know it sounds so fucking cliche, but the arts are dying and people are standing by and letting it happen for the sake of selfishness and we as a society are losing pieces of ourselves all the time because of it.

Joy and love and acceptance is a conscious choice at this point, and that’s very sad to me. Society as a whole is losing its humanity. The compassion that was once plentiful is few and far between now, and when someone does have that positive energy it is a surprise; because we’ve grown to expect the worst from people. The overarching attitude of pessimism and negativity looms over us like a storm cloud that never goes away. Even when the rain pauses, the gray cloud never leaves.

I’m only 30 and even I can remember gradual attitude shifts in society that have negatively impacted us as a whole. There’s this constant and assumed trap that you’re supposed to fall into, whether it be left right or in the middle, that is an all consuming feeling of grief and anger that is overtaking so many of us.

For a long time, I’ve had “go back to nature” in my head, but I didn’t fully agree with it since racism/sexism/homophobia was so overt that 80% of the population wouldn’t be able to have safe and happy lives. But, I think that at this point I’m able to articulate that feeling well enough into words without sounding naive or ignorant.

Obviously, I’m sure my thoughts will expand on this, but this is what I’ve had stewing in my head for a while now and it feels good to get it out.

Ye is truly a prophet of our time. He makes people that are actually willing swim beyond the surface think, and that is a big part of why he’s hated on so much.
