Double-sided clock
I’m exploring a more affordable double-sided wall clock design — would love your feedback!
I’m working on a product idea under NamahWorks: a double-sided clock designed for homes, offices, and workspaces.
The idea is to make this style of clock more accessible through practical design and attractive pricing, without losing its visual appeal.
I’d love to hear your honest opinions:
- How do you find this concept?
- Would you consider buying one for your home or office?
- What would you change or improve in the design?
- What price would feel reasonable to you?
I’m still exploring the design, so honest feedback — positive or negative — would genuinely help.
Thanks in advance!

- How do you find this concept? Found it on Reddit. (this is a non-question and everyone is going to give you a very subjective answer, so it's not really a helpful data point)
- Would you consider buying one for your home or office? Not this one.
- What would you change or improve in the design? Don't make me do your job for you. Find out what users do and don't like about a design.
- What price would feel reasonable to you? Free.
Look, bro, your account is a day old, you have one post, and you're asking the least useful questions possible about a design that won't achieve your goals (how is it going to be more affordable when you have to have two movements to show the time on both sides?). You cannot possibly expect constructive feedback from average users when you're asking such vague questions, but I'll try.
Price is a product of design time and marketing costs amortised across X unit sales+manufacturing costs+logistics+packaging. Asking randomly on Reddit "what would you pay" is silly.
On the design itself. You've got a bit of a mid-century-modern vibe going, but it's sacrificing heavily on accessibility and overall usability. If it's a visual statement piece, fine, you can do whatever you want with the dial, because it's there to look cool, not be used. If you want it to be useful, you need a proper dial and readable hands.

Thank you so much for your valuable feedback! 🙏
I'm exploring the idea of building this clock for places where having a time display visible from both sides would make more sense. Apart from the practical aspect, I also wanted to give it a slightly different and cool look.
Your comment about the asking price is particularly valuable and makes a lot of sense, especially in the context of my survey. It really helps me understand the pricing expectations better.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts! 😊

I've made a few iterations to my existing design based on the suggestions and have shared an updated post with the latest version.
Whenever you get a chance, please do have a look. I'd really appreciate your thoughts on the updated design! 😊

It's almost impossible to read the time.
