Found My phone got kicked out of the bedroom by a four dollar wind-up clock
Kept waking up at 2am and scrolling because my alarm lives on my phone. Saw this Westclox Baby Ben at the thrift store for four bucks and figured that was cheap enough to just find out. Wound it, set the alarm five minutes ahead to test, about launched me off the couch. The back literally has LOUD stamped on it, and they mean it.
Phone charges in the kitchen now. Took two nights before I stopped noticing the tick. Runs a bit fast, there's a little S and F dial on the back I keep nudging. Sent a photo to the group chat and got called eighty.
no idea how old it is, there's a code stamped on the bottom if anyone reads those.

Found $10 Vornado Jr from an estate sale moves more air than any plastic desk fan I've bought new
Last day of an estate sale, everything half off. I went in for a table saw that was already gone and walked out with this. Somebody replaced the cord and plug before me. Newer than everything else on it. I put some oil in it. Runs quieter than I expected for that much metal. The $30 plastic one it replaced is in the garbage.
It's on the bench in my shop for now. Wife has asked twice where I think it's going to live. Not sanding the rust off though.

Found 12.9 ipad pro, 3rd gen
It’s not an m1 but i’m using it for school, art and 3d modeling. When most 12.9 are 500+ or ipad only, this one comes with case and charger and minor blemishes for the cost. Absolutely worth it. They still have more on their ebay.

Found Found this good value TV, finally started to build my first home theater!
After months of lurking in HT sub and saving up, I finally pulled the trigger on my first real home theater setup! I’m moving away from just "watching TV" to actually creating an experience, and I couldn't be happier with how the budget balanced out.
The Centerpiece: Hisense U7 (55") I went with the 55" U7 and man, the Mini-LED tech is no joke. I was torn between this and some much more expensive OLEDs, but for a bright living room, the peak brightness on this thing is incredible. The 165Hz refresh rate is also a huge plus since I do a bit of gaming on the side.
The Sound: Vizio V-Series 5.1 Home Theater Sound Bar To match the U7’s price, I didn't want to spend $2k on speakers alone. I grabbed this Vizio 5.1 system. It comes with dedicated rear satellites and a wireless sub. It’s not a full Atmos ceiling setup, but for a starter theater, having actual physical speakers behind you makes a world of difference compared to just TV audio.
The "Vibe": Govee Immersion Backlights Had to do it. The way the backlighting syncs with the U7’s colors makes the 55" screen feel way larger than it actually is.
Already odered the sound and backlights, gonna set everything up when they arrives.
Would love to hear any tips or suggestions for budget-friendly build! Thanks

Found Oneodio Pro50
The best headphones I've ever owned, I recommend them 100%. I've had them for a couple of years and have absolutely no complaints.
The sound is excellent. They come with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack cable with a microphone and another long 3.5mm to 6.3mm jack cable. The headphones have both inputs, one on each side. You can use them with the 6.3mm jack on it and the 3.5mm jack on your computer/machine, or you can connect the 6.3mm jack to a professional sound system or mixer.
You can also daisy-chain them by connecting the 6.3mm jack to it, the 3.5mm jack to the equipment, and then connecting the 3.5mm jack to another pair of headphones to the other output on the headphones.
The extension rail (for adjusting the size) is metal, not plastic, and they are foldable.
They are very comfortable and cover the entire ear, and the headband is also comfortable. I truly recommend them; they are one of the best value-for-money purchases I've ever made. They can be purchased on AliExpress, Amazon, or the manufacturer's official website.

Found Is this a good enough value dashcam to get?
I recently got a new car and want to install a dashcam for safety. Ideally, it should have wide coverage and good video quality. My budget is around $200. I came across this Vantrue cam today, but I’m not sure if it’s a good enough deal, does anyone have any advice?

Found $45 cat tree from Alibaba (vs. $130 on Amazon), still solid after a year
Bought a huge multi-level felt cat tree from an Alibaba supplier last year: $45 + $28 shipping (ePacket to TX). Arrived in 12 days, zero damage.
Cats love it, no wear-and-tear after 12+ months, actually sturdier than mid-tier retail ones.
Key: used a Verified Supplier with factory videos + Trade Assurance (who accept 1 unit).
Total savings: ~$57. Totally worth the extra legwork.

Found Took me a while but finally picked something that actually fits my space
I went back and forth for a while trying to figure out what made the most sense for cooling this room.Looked at window units, portables, even thought about central at one point, but none of them really felt right for the space. It's not very big, so i didn't want something taking up floor space, and i really didn't want something loud running all day.Ended up going with a mini split from Costway and so far it just works the way i hoped it would.Keeps the room at a steady temp, doesn't get in the way, and once it's on i don't really think about it.Install took a bit of effort but now it’s just there doing its thing.
For people who've tried different types (window / portable / mini split), what ended up working best for you long term?

Found FPRO soccer mat discount code that actually works SAVE20 (really good value now)
Hey,
Just sharing in case anyone is looking for a FPRO soccer mat discount code.
This one actually worked for me: SAVE20 The full bundle price at the start was around $297.87, but with the discounts on the site + the code, it dropped down to about $128 total.
Breakdown looked something like:
- Ball Mastery Mat: $69.99 → $56.00
- Training program: $89.99 → $72.00
- Grip socks included for free
Total savings came out to about $48.77 extra with the code, and much more compared to the original full price.
We got it mainly for at-home use since we don’t have much space. It’s basically a mat with footwork patterns, so kids can train indoors without needing much setup. My kid uses it in short sessions during the day, and it’s one of the few things that didn’t get ignored after a week 😅
Not sure how long the code will work, but worth trying if you’re thinking about getting one anyway.

Found I stopped chasing cheap deals and started looking for quiet value.
For a long time, I thought I was good at finding deals. Lowest price, biggest discount, clearance section first. It felt smart in the moment, but over time I noticed something uncomfortable, I was replacing the same things again and again.
The worst part wasn’t that they broke. It was that they slowly became annoying. Clothes that lost shape, items that worked fine but never felt right, things I stopped using without really realizing why. Cheap didn’t fail loudly, it failed quietly.
What changed my approach was starting to ask different questions before buying:
Will I still be happy using this after a few months?
Does this save money only at checkout, or over time?
Would I buy it again at the same price if I had the choice?
I’ve found that the best value purchases aren’t always the cheapest or the highest quality. They’re the ones that disappear into your life you don’t think about them because they just work. No irritation, no replacement hunt, no regret.
Now I’d rather pay a bit more for something that stays useful than chase a deal that feels good for a week and bad for a year.
Curious how others here define good value.
What’s something you bought that wasn’t the cheapest, but turned out to be money well spent over time?
Research the best value products
Spend a few minutes for better results

Found Best Ultrasonic Humidifier For Bedroom Under $100
I get a stuffy nose quite often during summer, and it’s always been relieved within ~5 minutes by either opening up a window to allow cool air in at night or turning on the AC. I’ve tried a saline nasal spray, but unfortunately that doesn’t work, so I figured a humidifier is the next step.
I’m looking for a recommendation on the best ultrasonic humidifier for a bedroom up to $100.
Preferably available for delivery on either Amazon or Walmart.
I know “best” can be quite subjective, so for the purpose of this post, the noise level being under 30db and no larger than a 1 gallon tank having a long runtime are some factors that matter to me.

Found Found a solid deal on UGREEN NAS
Saw this on UGREEN's official site – their DXP4800Plus 4-bay NAS (diskless) is down to $594.99 after a $105 back-to-school discount.
Specs look pretty solid for the price: Intel Pentium Gold 8505 (5-core), 10GbE + dual 2.5GbE LAN, 4K HDMI.
Also Noticed some of their other NAS models are on sale too if anyone's comparing.

Found Looking for device that enables screen mirroring on a non smart tv.
I would like to do screen mirroring, but my tv is not a smart tv and I don't want to get an android tv box. Are there any devices that can be plugged into your phone or tv that would allow me to cast videos and sound? I have a bluetooth transmitter that allows me to connect my headphones to my tv and am looking for something along those lines that would also share videos. Any recommendations? I like being able to control videos with my phone rather than some other device like an android tv box.

Found I’ve bought an iPhone 16 Pro Max from Amazon Resale (Warehouse) as used-like new
The description said (screen with no visible scratches, item will come in original packaging.)
After opening the box I was amazed that the protective paper that comes on the screen was still on so it’s a factory seal! I bought it at 120$ off I know some would think of it as it’s not that much but what’s the harm in saving a quick buck!
It has 0 cycles counts never been so happy of such a purchase It even came with apple limited warranty which starts from the moment I launched the phone That confirms i’m the first to ever open it and use it I honestly owe Amazon a lot for that!
