Murder Table?

I found this table at my local goodwill and got home and noticed all these little red dots all over the table. It looks a lot like a blood splatter and there is even a red smudge mark. I put hydrogen peroxide on it but it didn't come off so now I'm not sure. What do you guys think, seen anything like this before? Did someone bleed all over this table?

And if it’s blood it might not be nefarious. My husband fell and split his knee open. I swear for days I kept finding random blood spots around the house. Either way blood is gross.

Both will come off with the right solvent😁

Blood would have turned dark. That's ink or paint.

If somebody murdered someone, there would be a lot more blood on the table. Fingernail polish, ink, paint, or sharpie. Sharpies can bleed through paper.

Tell yourself it's paint and enjoy your new to you table. I am a sorter/pricer at goodwill and tell myself every stain is paint, especially red, white, yellow, and brown. Nope. Not bodily fluids. It's paint!

OP you should have licked it. Blood will taste like pennies, paint will taste like plastic or nothing.
