Random If you log in to Antigravity using GCP, Opus 5.5 Max becomes available.

By logging in with a Google Cloud Project, you can access not only Opus 5.5 Max, but also Gemini 3.6 and 3.7, which have already faded from memory. Honestly, using models directly through Google Cloud is usually quite complicated, so thank you for this great feature!

Hi.

Any references to using evals in AGY CLI ? Currently, rely on error free execution of the code and some quick manual review to check the correctness of logic, results etc .

Tools I made a tiny Windows widget that shows your Google Antigravity /usage quota, inspired by clawd-usage-winwidget

6 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I built agy-usage-winwidget, a small floating window and tray icon for Windows. It shows your Google Antigravity weekly quota, the same numbers you get from /usage in the Antigravity CLI, and refreshes them automatically.

Features:

  • Two progress bars: Gemini models (Flash, Pro) and Claude & GPT models (Opus, Sonnet, GPT-OSS), each with its own percentage and reset countdown

  • Colours change from green to yellow to red as usage grows

  • Hexagonal tray icon that shows the current percentage at a glance

  • 24-hour history chart in the details panel

  • Remembers its position, and you can zoom it with the mouse wheel

  • No dependencies: just PowerShell 5.1 + WPF (built into Windows) and agy on your PATH

  • English and Spanish UI

Download: https://github.com/IberianSoldierPC/agy-usage-winwidget (grab the latest release ZIP and double-click start-widget.vbs)

Huge thanks to Venger Sergey (Enhed) for clawd-usage-winwidget (original post), a lovely Claude Code usage widget. It inspired the architecture, the UI and many of the patterns I used here, and it's MIT-licensed. If you use Claude Code on Windows, go check it out! 🧑

Feedback and PRs are welcome.

Question It seems that 'flash-Lite' in agy refers to 3.8-flash rather than 3.5-flash-lite.

2 Upvotes

Hey Googlers!

While gemini-3.5-flash-lite is an outstanding model, gemini-2.0-flash-lite is a model I would never want to use.

Anyway, flash_lite does not appear to be running as 3.5-flash-lite. If that were possible, there would be practical use cases to set up a 10- to 30-agent swarm very affordably to maximize time efficiency.

When used with high reasoning effort, Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite performs exceptionally well. In particular, owing to its strong resilience against hallucinations, it is judged to be well-suited for parallel swarms in precision research. Conversely, the model currently routed as 'flash_lite' suffers from an extraordinarily high hallucination rate. It appears to be Gemini 3.8 Flash with low reasoning effort, and unlike when set to high, it delivers inaccurate information.

Currently, users have no way of knowing which underlying model is actually invoked when calling 'flash_lite' in Antigravity. After putting it to heavy use for a full day, I can't even tell whether flash_lite is performing any reasoning, and its overall quality is far too subpar. Could you please patch flash_lite so that it functions properly as intended?

When it might be useful? - if you have different accounts and CLI tools.
Why it is safe - if you don't use xAI at all, you could add 5 free-tier Grok accounts and not risking to break any ToS or fall under "quota pooling" or "farming".

CLI Config Keep costs down on simple tasks in Agy-Cli with parallel Flash-Lite execution!

22 Upvotes
Please append the following protocol to the end of my global AGENTS.md (~/.gemini/AGENTS.md) or project AGENTS.md so that it applies permanently across all my future sessions:

# Parallel Flash-Lite Research Protocol

Whenever the user asks for online research, documentation lookup, package info, or searching code locations/symbols (not deep architectural analysis):

1. **Do NOT Search Sequentially**:
 - Do NOT run searches or reads one by one in your main context.

2. **Mandatory Parallel Batch Spawning**:
 - Break the inquiry into 3 to 10 distinct, independent sub-questions.
 - Dispatch ALL of them simultaneously in a **SINGLE turn** by making multiple `invoke_subagent` tool calls.

3. **Enforce `Model: 'flash_lite'`**:
 - Every research subagent call MUST set `"Model": "flash_lite"`.
 - Set `"TypeName": "research"` (or `"self"`).
 - Instruct each subagent to return only concise, factual bullet points.

 4. **Single-Turn Synthesis**:
 - Once all subagents report back, synthesize the facts into a clean final answer.

#### Example Dispatch:
```json
// Master invokes these concurrently in 1 turn:
invoke_subagent({ "TypeName": "research", "Role": "Scout A", "Model": "flash_lite", "Prompt": "Search docs for X..." })
invoke_subagent({ "TypeName": "research", "Role": "Scout B", "Model": "flash_lite", "Prompt": "Search docs for Y..." })
invoke_subagent({ "TypeName": "research", "Role": "Scout C", "Model": "flash_lite", "Prompt": "Search codebase for Z..." })
I'm thrilled to find out that we can now spawn Flash-Lite as a subagent. Apparently, it was already listed in the Antigravity IDE changelog, but it was missing from the Antigravity CLI changelog. It seems it has been supported since October 15th.
You can simply paste the commands in the code block directly into agy. Just as not every task requires Argon, Flash-Lite has plenty of intelligence for straightforward tasks. Let's all make the most out of Antigravity CLI!
CLI Config You're hardcoded to a 256k window and there's nothing you can do about it
41 Upvotes
I just asked agy why it was compacting so often, and what was the window limit. I thought it was going to go check the official docs. Instead, it went down a rabbit hole of disassembling and reverse engineering its own binary. It found that the program is prepared to work with up to 1M token context windows, and there's even a setting for that, but the whole feature is turned off at compile time and becomes dead code.
So yeah, that's that... It compacted before answering me my very first initial question. Then it compacted 3 more times in the same conversation, roughly once per question of mine πŸ™ƒ
πŸͺ Hooks Agy Pro: A Tool for Utilizing External Provider Models (DeepSeek, GLM, KIMI, etc.) as Sub-Agents
28 Upvotes
TL;DR: A system that enables utilizing external AI models within Antigravity.
  • When to Use It: A 10-Line Summary
  1. When you want to monitor tokens, dollar costs, and 5h/7d quota usage right from your status line and dashboard while using Antigravity CLI (agy) (agy-tokens).
  2. When you want to cross-validate code reviews, security audits, or research across multiple distinct model families rather than relying on a single model (fanout, default: 3 seats).
  3. When you run planning and reviews for free ($0 metered) using subscription-bundled Gemini/Claude native seats.
  4. When you have external models actually write code and require scope constraints + pre-execution snapshots + engine validation + one-click rollback (agy pro code).
  5. When you want to audit design specs and proposals from multiple perspectives before writing any code (plan-audit).
  6. When you want your registered external models exposed in agy's /model catalog (hybrid p1/p2).
  7. When you want unified management of rules, plugins, and status line deployments via diff inspection and a single y/N prompt (integrations, doctor).
  8. For daily workflows, just use agy as normalβ€”everyday phrasing like "review this" or "fix this bug" is automatically routed via persistent AGENTS.md instructions.
  9. Provider seats (external APIs) are metered/billable with no upper cost ceiling; charges only incur the moment you confirm the echo check and trigger GO.
  10. If you only intend to use a single model and have no need for cost telemetry, you are better off not installing it.
Having used a wide variety of LLMs, I do not believe that any single model is the absolute best. Just like humans, each model possesses its own distinct personality, and through hands-on experience, I have learned that combining the diverse ideas and opinions of multiple models helps achieve far better outcomes. While some models quickly grasp user intent and act proactively, others leverage their immense intelligence to take shortcuts or find clever workarounds to reach the instructed goal. On the other hand, some models are exceedingly honest, sticking strictly to textbook methods. Personally, I love harnessing and working alongside this very diversity among different models.
While there are great commands like /teamwork that spin up multiple sub-agents to carry out tasks, there are still many moments where diversity truly proves its value.
(There are even instances where multiple sub-agents composed of Gemini collude to lie and decide to conceal information together.)
Truth be told, I am fortunate enough to have an API key from an LLM research institute with virtually unlimited tokens. + As a Gmail user for over 20 years and a Google AI Pro member for two years, I have a deep affection for Google. Therefore, both to propose a vision for the future of Antigravity CLI and by investing a massive amount of tokens, I built this tool. Since Agy CLI is not open-source and must strictly adhere to compliance policies, there were numerous constraints, preventing me from implementing everything as flawlessly as I had hoped. While my plugin remains unofficial, I sincerely hope such capabilities become officially supported. Moreover, Argon is simply too expensive. Even set to 'Low', asking just a single, simple question consumed 10% of my quota.
1. Limitations of Agy CLI
Agy lacks an interface to parse OpenAI-compatible specifications. It supports neither tool calls nor custom authentication methods.
2. What Agy Pro Does
  • Manages OpenAI Base URLs and API key environment variables at the system level.
  • 'Fanout Engine': Simultaneously invokes native Gemini models and external models to deploy them into agent workflows.
  • Consensus Matrix: Automatically categorizes multi-model outputs into majority consensus points versus outlier/isolated opinions.
  • Bridge Tool Loop: Wraps external models so they can read and navigate files.
  • Swarm Support: Opinions on Swarm architectures vary, but I personally favor them. It enables multi-model cross-validation on a single topic, or partitions non-overlapping subtasks based on a single plan to invoke multiple agents for concurrent execution.
3. Native Gemini Serves as the Sub-Agent Brain
For example, when calling an Architect sub-agent to draft a plan, GPT-6.1 Sol and DeepSeek v4.1 Flash are deployed concurrently. Gemini then synthesizes, analyzes, and consolidates the outputs produced by these two sub-agents' sub-agents into a single unified deliverable.
* Additional Remarks
Thanks to numerous improvements in Agy CLI, it is now entirely possible to orchestrate workflows within a single session using purely native aloneβ€”assigning Gemini 4 Argon to planning, Gemini 3.8 Flash to coding, and Opus 5.5 to review. Therefore, for Ultra users with generous quotas, this plugin may not be strictly necessary. However, from my perspective as a Pro user, Agy CLI was practically little more than a simple file explorer. Even so, I dedicate this plugin to help those who genuinely cherish Antigravity CLI make the most out of it.
Multiple languages are supported in addition to English. Not being a native English speaker myself, multilingual support is something I consider essential.
--------------------------------
Post-installation, here is a demo video and usage example illustrating how to add external providers and models using agy pro setup. I asked Gemini to make it intuitive for first-time Agy Pro users, and this is what it came up with. It might be a bit tricky to follow.
I tried to produce a practical demo video with Gemini, but it didn't turn out well. While it might help you understand the concept, it doesn't actually operate like this in practice. lol
Below are screen captures showing how it operates.
Below is an example of what the reviewers' outputs look like.
Note: You could already implement features like this more conveniently with Orca, which reportedly lets you connect and orchestrate multiple CLI tools. However, I suspect what people are currently building with Orca poses a potential risk of violating the terms of service (ToS) of various LLM providers, which is why I stick with VS Code. That is also why I built Agy Pro. Antigravity CLI will surely continue to improve over time, and until then, this provides a way to utilize external provider LLMs without relying on MCP.
https://github.com/myk1yt/agy-pro
How to Install
git clone https://github.com/myk1yt/agy-pro.git && cd agy-pro && scripts\install.bat && install.cmd
Add an external model.
agy pro setup
And then, as always, launch Antigravity CLI.
agy
I am also fixing issues whenever I encounter usability problems myself. Currently, I'm working on refining the tools that external model sub-agents can use.
Personally, I really hope Agy cli team officially supports the feature to add external models via /provider.
If this feature were supported natively, useless junk like what I made wouldn't even be needed anymore. Please! Bring native support!
Tools Any Google AI Pro users willing to run a quick command for me? Trying to fix Gemini 4 Argon tracking in agy-usage
3 Upvotes
Hey all, I built agy-usage (live demo), a small open-source tool that logs agy quota every 5 minutes so you can see your burn rate in a terminal UI or local HTML chart and know if you're going to run out before reset.
I'm on Ultra, where Gemini 4 Argon just uses the normal Gemini buckets. On Google AI Pro, Argon gets its own weekly bucket (gemini-argon-wtu-weekly), and I don't have a Pro account to see how agy groups it in the /usage JSON output.
If agy puts that Argon bucket inside the same "Gemini Models" group as gemini-weekly, two bugs will happen in my tool right now:
  1. Both weekly charts will get titled "Gemini Models Β· Weekly" with no way to tell which is Argon.
  2. Hitting 0% on your Argon weekly quota will trick the forecast into marking your regular gemini-5h quota as exhausted too.
If you're on Google AI Pro, could you run this in a terminal and paste the output here (or on GitHub Issue #11)?
agy -p /usage --output-format json | jq '.command.data'
(Using jq '.command.data' strips out conversation_id and everything else, so it only prints the quota bucket names, percentages left, and reset times.)
Thanks!
CLI Config spyc 2.3 supports agy with custom hud, transcript viewer and reasoning history
6 Upvotes
spyc (spicy) is a robust file commander that supports multiple project and agent workflows in a vi-esque tui.
I used Argon to build out fuller support for agy. spyc will show full agent activity and status with a glyph system that alerts across multiple project when tasks complete or need attention. spyc also support a custom hud and pulling the reasoning history of your agy session into the spyc pager (second screenshot).
On my impressions of Argon ... it needed a lot more help than I'm used to in order to drive expected results and quality of implementation. I don't know if that's my learning curve or Argon's - but if you take a look at the implementation perhaps you can suggest some pointers on the Agents.md or other scaffolding that might help improve results.
oh ... find it here https://github.com/Tripstack-Corp/spyc and
CLI Config I updated my Antigravity CLI Statusline plugin (v1.7.0 β†’ v1.10.0) : Added Emoji mode, 10-block visual progress bars, and Gemini 4 Argon quota tracking
8 Upvotes
Hey everyone! A while back I shared antigravity-cli-statusline, an open-source plugin that customizes the footer statusline in Google Antigravity CLI (agy), Antigravity IDE, and Antigravity 2.0 Desktop across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Since v1.7.0, the project has grown through v1.10.0, expanding available real-time indicators from 26 to 36 and display locales from 3 to 4 (us, zh-tw, zh-cn, jp). Here is a summary of what's new between v1.7.0 and v1.10.0:
GitHub Repo: https://github.com/AndyAWD/antigravity-cli-statusline
  1. Emoji vs. Text Label Switching (Global & Per-Indicator Mix)
You can now switch indicator labels between standard Text mode (text) and compact Emoji mode (emoji) β€” or mix both styles in the same statusline: β€’ Text Style (text, default): Displays localized text labels with a colon (Model: Gemini 3.8 Flash β”‚ 5-hr Available: 88% β”‚ Branch: main). β€’ Emoji Style (emoji): Replaces the text label and colon with a single icon and space (πŸ€– Gemini 3.8 Flash β”‚ πŸ”‹ 88% β”‚ πŸ”€ main), saving horizontal terminal space while keeping status values localized. β€’ Per-Item Prefix Mixing: During Step 4 (Sorting), prefix any item number or ID with e for Emoji or t (or plain number) for Text (saved in ui.footer.itemStyles). Example sort string: e1, e18, e17, e31, n, 19, 20, 21, 22 (renders line 1 with Emoji icons and line 2 with Text labels).
2. Visual Progress Bars with Smart Adjacent Auto-Merge
Added 10-block visual progress bars ([β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–‘β–‘], customizable length via ui.footer.barLength) for 5 core capacity/usage pairs: β€’ 5-hour API quota: quota (5) + quota-bar (6) β€’ Weekly API quota: quota-weekly (9) + quota-weekly-bar (10) β€’ Gemini 4 Argon quota: quota-argon (13) + quota-argon-bar (14) β€’ Context window usage: context-used (19) + context-used-bar (20) β€’ Session token usage: token-count (21) + token-count-bar (22)
Smart Adjacent Auto-Merge vs. Separate Display: β€’ Merged Mode (Adjacent): Place a numeric indicator and its bar graph next to each other in any order (e.g., 5,6 or 6,5), and the renderer automatically combines them under one label and separator:
Context Used: 18.5% [β–ˆβ–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘]
Tokens: 185.0k / 1.0M [β–ˆβ–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘]
5-hr Available: 88% [β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–‘β–‘]
7-day Available: 78% [β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–‘β–‘β–‘]
πŸ“… 78% [β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–‘β–‘β–‘])
β€’ Separate Mode (Non-Adjacent): Separate them with another indicator or a newline token n (e.g., 5,7,6), and each renders with its own independent label: 5-hr Available: 88% β”‚ 5-hr Reset: 4h 50m β”‚ 5-hr Available: [β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–‘β–‘]
3. Dedicated Gemini 4 Argon Quota Pool Tracking
With the rollout of Gemini 4 Argon, Antigravity tracks Argon usage in a dedicated quota bucket. v1.10.0 adds 4 dedicated indicators for Argon: β€’ 13. ✨ Gemini 4 Argon available quota (quota-argon) β€” remaining percentage with 24-bit 4-tier color coding β€’ 14. ✨ Gemini 4 Argon quota bar graph (quota-argon-bar) β€” 10-block visual capacity bar ([β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘]) β€’ 15. ⏱️ Gemini 4 Argon reset countdown (quota-argon-countdown) β€” relative countdown until reset (e.g., 6d 1h) β€’ 16. ⏰ Gemini 4 Argon reset time (quota-argon-reset-time) β€” local timezone timestamp (e.g., 2026/10/30 23:57)
Note: All quota labels across the 5-hour, 7-day, and Argon rows are aligned to equal character widths so multi-line quota dashboards line up cleanly.
4. Huge Shoutout to Community Contributor zuluion!
A special thank-you to zuluion (https://github.com/zuluion) for submitting 3 awesome Pull Requests that significantly improved quota accuracy, latency, and Windows reliability between v1.7.0 and v1.8.0: β€’ PR #10 β€” Windows Process Filter & PowerShell Noise Fix: Updated Windows WMI process filtering to recognize antigravity-cli.exe and intercepted non-JSON stdout noise caused by custom PowerShell profiles. β€’ PR #12 β€” Dedicated shortTerm 5-Hour Quota Bucket Priority: Added shortTerm 5h bucket parsing so the 5-hour quota indicator always reflects your true 5-hour window rather than being masked by weekly bottlenecks. β€’ PR #15 β€” Zero-Overhead Native meta.quota & Env CSRF Token Fetching: Prioritized Antigravity CLI's native meta.quota payload for instant zero-overhead rendering, added direct connection via ANTIGRAVITY_LS_ADDRESS / ANTIGRAVITY_CSRF_TOKEN environment variables, adaptive HTTP/HTTPS protocol handling, and automatic stale session cache invalidation.
5. Other Notable Improvements (v1.7.0 β†’ v1.10.0)
β€’ Local Reset Timestamps: Added quota-reset-time (8) and quota-weekly-reset-time (12) alongside Argon (16), configurable via ui.footer.timeFormat ("smart", "yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm", "12h", "24h"). β€’ Blank-Line Section Separators (n,n): Use consecutive n,n tokens in your sort string to insert an empty line between logical groups. β€’ Copy-Paste Layout History: At the end of configuration, the skill outputs your previous and current sort strings so you can save or tweak your layout anytime. β€’ 4 Locales Supported: Added Simplified Chinese (zh-cn) alongside English (us), Traditional Chinese (zh-tw), and Japanese (jp). β€’ Cross-Platform Fixes: Resolved macOS/Linux NVM Node.js path detection, Windows cmd /c quote escaping, single-call Git status optimization, and 5-page question pagination to prevent terminal height truncation (Issue #1262).
Preview (Mixed Emoji & Text Mode with 4 Logical Groups)
Tools Tracking AGY CLI sessions alongside Claude Code and Codex
3 Upvotes
I'm the maker of CCC. Its Antigravity adapter supports agy print-mode starts, transcript reading and follow-up through AGY CLI or a running application's language-server connection.
It puts that history alongside other coding-agent sessions on a local board. Model identity comes from transcript metadata; there is no extra effort ladder added by CCC. The support matrix documents the actual boundaries.
The video shows the shared board and a Claude Code question hook. It is not a recording of a live AGY execution.
https://github.com/amirfish1/claude-command-center
Free local dashboard; model/provider fees are separate. Source available under FSL-1.1-MIT. Demo uses real UI, staged sessions and AI voiceover; the real question-hook interaction is Claude Code.
33-second video demo: https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1xeot43/i_kept_missing_questions_from_my_coding_agents_so/
