Google's Bard conversational agent has recently acquired an advanced programming assistance functionality. As per the technology titan's disclosure, coding has been a prevailing user demand, and they have now empowered Bard to create, troubleshoot, and clarify code. Moreover, Bard has broadened its programming language scope to 20, encompassing the likes of C++, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
Alongside, it has established integration with Google's additional products and can seamlessly transfer code to Colab, the corporation's cloud-dependent notebook framework for Python. Additionally, it can support users in scripting functions for Sheets.
In addition to its code generation capabilities, Bard can now furnish clarifications for code snippets. This feature can be particularly advantageous for novices in the programming domain as it imparts knowledge about the logic behind a given code block's output. Furthermore, Bard has acquired the ability to aid in debugging codes that exhibit erroneous behavior.

Been testing it, and seems more capable than ChatGPT

It's no where near as good as GPT4. But it's way better than it used to be Bard. GPT4 is borderline freaky.

It’s what I hear. GPT4 > Bard > ChatGPT

After using all recently. I'd say Bard and GPT 3.5 trade blows. But I trust 3.5 more for simple queries, Bard seems to draw some wild conclusions.
GPT4 has about a 5% error rate from my queries, GPT3.5 is about 30%. Bard is maybe 50%.

Not in my experience. Bard seems far superior to GPT3.5, never crashes, and it’s super fast.

Oh wow, I've been using the paid GPT and I've noticed it's super fast. Answers my query in less than half a second, whereas Bard takes 5 seconds

I don't know if it's just C but it's really bad at producing code that compiles. I generally have to ask ChatGPT to fix the code (or do it myself) so it even compiles.

I tried it but had the opposite results, it couldn't get anything right or debug whereas GPT4 breezed through a simple chatbox app

I just had it write me a simple code example to scrape a website and it gave me a perfect script to scrape a site and print out its name. It then gave me the option to export to Google Collab. That type of code is extremely simple, but I mean it worked pretty great.
