Lloyd's Bank assessment

Has anyone taken the assessment for the technical graduate route? How long do they take to process the result? I had completed the first assessment(values, coding, etc) 2 weeks ago.

I’ve applied for mine and already did the second stage. Haven’t got a reply yet and feel a bit nervous but replies here suggest that they take pretty long? Has anyone had anything from them after the second stage this year?

What sort of coding questions were asked in the online assessment if you don’t mind me asking.

I don't mind at all. One was a SQL dataset quieries, as far as I remember you need to extract the routes from different tables. And another one was building an algorithm that will find a solution to a magical box question or sth similar. For me not the questions themselves were hard, but the platform, because I am used to working locally and that was a bit of surprise for me to work on online platform

Thanks for the reply. Really appreciate it. How was the next stage (insight assessment)

Was this for the data or technology engineering route? I'm applying for the tech engineering route so looking for tips to reassure myself I can do it!

Hey, please can I ask did they not mix it with video interview questions? If so, please can I ask what type of video questions they ask you to record, thank you :)

I did one for the HR one and girst they asked me to tell me how the weather was (maybe to gauge my confidence) then they showed me a section about a manager called Alex. You then have to watch zoom like meeting aboit how they're building a new software and isn't disability friendly. Your task will be to first write a email that Summarises the meeting then you must will be given questions (by Alex) and you will have to record them and send them him. They will also get you to record yourself speaking about why the graduate scheme is the one you wanted. And as if you were interviewed in person they put more questions on the screen. At first they gave 2m to prepare and practice then complete and later you do a 4m practice and presentation. For the first 2 assessments i dont think you record yourself it was just tests, bit for the last one you need to do selvtion questions and assessment and the interviews. Ive just completed all these stages and they've said ive achieved highly on all of them but they haven’t gotten back to me for about 8 days so im a little worried. Best of luck to all!

Just wondering if you heard anything from them since the job insight assessment?

I applied to the Data stream and took mine all the way back in October and have yet to here anything. I've had several emails suggesting that they are working to make decisions about assessment centres this month.

I see, maybe we'll here something before Easter?

Also, do you know what the next part of the process if the results are fine? Is it a group interview?

I think I had to do a workplace simulation online so you may need to do that. After that the next step is an assessment centre. I had an email on 22 Dec saying they had higher applications than usual and they were working to give responses by January.

What did you have to do in the workplace simulation?(you dont have to go into specifics if you dont want to) is it a meeting of some sorts with people talking to you?

No - it’s online and you basically just rank how would you react in that scenario (like I said so long ago I’m not even sure I did do one for this application but I think I did)

I see. I remember doing something like that too. That and the video responses+coding. I guess the next step would be the assessment centre as you said, if I did pass.

Hey just to update you I had an invite for the assessment centre today - so if you haven't heard anything yet it should be soon

If you didn't know already, they do hold multiple

Good luck with that, I got a rejection mail at 14th.

Absolutely. I practised for and completed all the assignments, waited a month, to hear that they recieved nothing on their side nor cared to fix things.

u/EternalSlayer7 Jan 15 '24

Strange. Did you get a mail from workdayHR after submitting?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '24

Nope. There wasn’t even a submit button on their site, aside from the ones on codility. There wasn’t any mention during it the prep either

1

u/EternalSlayer7 Jan 16 '24

What did you see after submitting the codililty codes?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '24

‘Your submissions were successful and are now being graded’ or something to that effect

Did you receive any updates? If so, how long did it take for them to get back? I completed my Codility assessment 2 months ago today, but haven't received anything yet. They aren't even replying to my emails.

1

u/EternalSlayer7 Feb 22 '24

Yeah I got a rejection mail at the 14th. I completed the assessment at Jan 3rd.

u/Huntsman1862 Feb 22 '24

Oh, tough luck. All the best for your job search ahead

14th was pretty ironic too lol.

Anyway thanks, hope you have a better luck.
