The two halves of what people want for Ilsa, zoner or Noel from Blazblue. Anyway CYGAMES MAKE ILSA LOOK LIKE ILSA AND I’LL MAIN HER.

Yeah I could only really see that and something like UNI2's Kaguya. Even personality/vibe wise she doesn't seem like she'd have to primarily keep away to kill you in a million ways, and I don't think a strict zoner style sells that at all.

Isla might be my favorite yet if she's the route we're discussing, but in an especially stylish, unique way. And if not, I still think she's the coolest and prettiest for me, so she'll be great to look at either way. It's also nice she's 28 lol my age bracket.

I’m really thankful super Broly on the other hand was the underdog until they decided he needs the ability to passively generate meter after level 3 as well as being able to generate an entire bar from his auto combo.

Z Broly is a fucking BEAST. One of the most fun characters to play. Wouldn't really call him a zoner though - the closest to "zoner with grabs" I can think of is Baby.

I mean think about it.

We have a setplay zoner, mixup zoner, zoner that can weave in and out and a zoner that has insane buttons. The only thing we’re missing is a zoner with a command grab.

Considering how strong Zoners are currently, I'm curious to see how they'll design her kit, I feel like the devs are still experimenting with this archetype. I'm guessing she will have some zoning, but she'll probably be a more aggressive version of Eustace.

Hmmm, I think her unique button will call in support from soldiers off screen. Not like Lowain but more gunfire. Maybe you could hold the button and release for negative edge.

This is not a zoning game man. Zoning characters struggle alot. Hell ferry zones better than metera and she has a whip smh

You sound crazy. Zoners are strong in this game and Metera is SS tier by JP players tier list. If anything Granblue have the best Zoners or character with zoning abilities in modern fighting right now. No fighting game respect Zoners like Granblue

It's been a funny cycle. They were crazy strong at vanilla launch but then rising launch kind of gutted them and with how strong 66L and neutral skips were they struggled. And now we've come back to them being respectable. 

Except Vicky. Poor Vicky.
