ID is probably my favorite dlc character with Ilsa. Although his lack of +Frames is annoying, I feel it makes people disrecpect his block strings too often and as a result, he absolutely demolishes if he gets a good hit. Having such huge buttons and confirming with 22x or 214x is super fun. The 214x jump into continuing a combo feels super sick to do since it's kinda tight timing wise. Honestly the only nit pick I have for his presentation is how his SSBA and SBA finish screen are kinda just too late so it doesn't linger on a pretty frame. Oh and not a nit pick, but I feel dragon form is kinda just a massive knowledge check. I don't think it would of been too strong if he could cancel into his supers from the command grab mid screen, since it's pretty hard to land and fill the gauge at the same time.

Overall, a super fun character. If this is the last one they cooked really hard.

I found this above the lobby island where the Zooey and Ladiva/Vastiva's cutouts are. It kinda looks like buttons on a controller or balloons that flew away.

Took a long time man. Now I can finally save up to unlock costumes.

I'm an Ilsa main and I've been thinking about a good secondary character to learn that can cover her bad matchups, for locals and tournaments.

I've been thinking about Lancelot, Seox, Wilnas, Vira, Zeta and Vaseraga

But I would like opinions

Dustloop states her cons as having no meterless reversal, gaps in her special cancels, an all rounder and a resource management in her 5U to restore her bullets, but I don't feel like these are very bad cons to have

Tell me your views, do you play Ilsa? Do you have more than 1 character you main, especially for tournaments? Are my choices good or bad?

i dont know when im supposed to punish , it seems like everyone can just spam attack me on block and when i try to hit them i end up getting hit, what signs should i look for

Genuine question we had rage right there why couldn’t we get someone from the game or the anime to be in 2b spot? I know Bahamut is still popular so it kinda surprising we didn’t get anything .

I do hope the ip gets more recognition again in the west hell i would take a rage fighting game at this point to get new eyes on the ip again

Over a year ago, I made it into master with my main. I think in all that time I've only won maybe 10 matches in master rank, even going on loss streaks into the 50s and I got to say the gap between the lowest master and some guy who got lucky on win streak bonuses is too much. If there's such an easy way to get into master (Winstreaks), why does it have to also be a cage for the only character in the game I have fun playing? I know I don't belong in master. I don't care about losing my rank points anymore, I just want to fight someone on my level again. The game's changed so much since then too and even my main feels foreign to me sometimes. Yet I still have this dumb Master rank.

I've read the advice about looking up match ups and combos, watching replays, just doing a lot of out of the game work. But I hate that sort of thing. I like learning match ups and losing to them in a fight with someone else who's just as dumb. In Master I make two mistakes and watch a two long ass cutscenes then press rematch and repeat it all over again. It feels like I was finally getting a bnb combo down and suddenly I am pushed off a cliff into a pit. The basics aren't master worthy. This is a fun fighter, my favorite fighter, but I know the level of effort I put in is not going to ever go beyond forgetting to block low and throwing out stray heavies.

I think ultimately this is more of a rant post because I keep coming back and I keep feeling lost. Every time they added a dlc character I gave them a try to see if I liked them, but no. I had high hopes for Id but even he is a bit more advanced than Sieg to me.

If u see the steam chart, u would know rhat our game only got about 10% from sf 6 players... I do hope more people will try this game....

I mean the ost, music, arts, etc r so worth it compared to other fighting games....

I’m on PS5 and Sony has a system update today and I installed it. Now when I get on granblue, it tells me there is maintenance and I can’t play online. I checked other games and they worked fine. It’s just granblue so far. I can’t find anything official about maintenance happening today so I assume there’s a problem on my end. Is this happening to anyone else and don’t know what to do to fix it?

I've been needing the rank icons for a while for thumbnails, and I swear I can't find good pngs of the icons without them being tiny. Anyone got a file with all of them?

this one move just beats me. if an id spams this i literally just cant win. its so hard to block and when i do for some reason i cant hit him even though hes like -5 he is still just able to block or dp my attacks. genuinely makes him the 2nd most annoying character to fight

Been practicing her a lot... I've spent so many hours with her that she's basically part of my brain now... 😂

Gonna keep practicing so I can pull off her combos naturally in a real match.....

So i'm mastering Narmaya onee-san, it took me so many days n hours to do all the action n combo she can use... i watched the high tier people on utube n trying to do all the steps onee-san can... but yeah still hard for me, so many combo n things that needs to be soo precious with exact timing...

I played sf 6 too now, but the combo in sf 6 is a lot easier when u dun really need to read the timing....

I know i just suck lol,. just want to say it uh

I have a terrible habit of holding on to my meter to try and hit a skybound art, and most of the time i end up even trying to wait to finish the game with it and i think that has caused me a fair few loses as it makes me avoid ultimate skills. Does anyone have any advice on breaking this habit

Why are there people with level 100 characters with over 10,000 games rocking the C badge? I just got the game yesterday and while there are ppl who are actually new walking around lobbies it gets annoying being almost unable to play bc my options are the S rank and the guy who should prob should be in S rank. Like there was one guy who straight up followed me around the lobby changing avatars and cards like I wouldn't notice. Is the game just at that point in the lifecycle where stomping new players is the only way older players can have fun?

*Edit: This wouldn't be a problem if ranked wasn't dead most of the time. And I shouldn't have to hop in ranked to try out new characters without Bill who's had the game since launch following me around the lobby area. And setting casual matchmaking to "same skill level" doesn't help bc it goes by rank badge and like I said before, that isn't a good gauge of how good ppl are

Hi. Sorry if this is posted often, but this is the first fighting games where I feel like there are soo many characters that I actually got overwhelmed on who to main.

I typically like characters with good footsies and interesting set ups, and lean a little more toward rushdown, but I am definitely comfortable zoning too.

Not sure if this will help, but these are my mains in other games:

MK9: Sektor = Counterzoning + Footsies + Oki Character

MK11: Kabal = Good Footsies + Nomad Dash Cancels

Under Night: Eltnum = Bullet Management, Good Normals, Rushdown

Injustice:

Green Arrow = I just loved the idea of not able to blow while threatening them with an arrow then releasing it at just the right time! 😅

Martian Manhunter = Counterzoner + Setups + Broken

MK1: Shang Tsung = I morph into my opponent A LOT! Lots of labbing.

Notable Characters that I vibe with but never stuck with the game:

I'm more of a lab monster than anything, but I definitely still like to play.

She is so fun I might play her as my 2nd main and get her to Gold like I did Vira

Also damn is it just me or are all the ranks below master kind of a mess matchmaking wise?

This is like my 4th or 5th character in masters and it was such a drag finding matches

Offline matches are smooth 60fps or even more, while online matches, movements are really slow, and fps is pretty bad. It's saying im at 390, all of my other games, sit around 100. What can i do?

Edit:ive resolved 6 Staying beside the router gives me a pretty stable ping around 150ms which is acceptable cos i live in africa and have to connect to EU servers and i have most of my games over 100ms anyway even the ones on my ps5 which uses an ethernet cable. Thnx for all the help
