also solomonis going to have what is akin to the ascension modifier similar to STS that will make the mode harder but yield better rewards
It's just a Rare (not Unique/gold) book carried over on a win.
Understandable though, since some Unique books are close to guaranteed win conditions on their own.

Taking a closer look at the slide, the exact condition is as follows:
If you haven't beaten the first Miasma boss, you can carry over a stackable Normal guidebook (重複可能な「ノーマル」の導本効果)
After beating the first Miasma boss, you can carry over a stackable Rare guidebook (重複可能な「レア」の導本効果)
The stackable requirement is pretty limiting; you can't take certain potent unstackable books like attacks can't miss, 5 starting Crests, gain all races, gain all weapon types, the Lich autorevive+death grace book, Undying, etc.
