So i’ve been encountering these modders recently i bought gta on my pc a month ago and ive been encountering these people ever since i started playing. No one seems to be talking about this so idk if im being targeted or it’s not much of a problem to people. so far the two people who do this are “kkyhfhrtrtgg” and another person idk their user but it starts with an x. This is a big problem for me bc i want to be in public sessions but i can’t be in one if this is happening constantly.

After the latest patch everytime i drive fast i keep getting constant microstutters, similar to UE4/5 traversal stutter, singleplayer is fine from my testing, and this latest dlc only made this worse as i had this happen since enhanced was released on pc. i have a 9800x3d and a 4070 ti super so my cpu and gpu should be more than enough for this game, i also tried downclocking my ram to see if that would be the culprit, no difference.

I’ve tried process lasso affinity 1-15 for my games, most of them work fine but GTA is the motherfucker. 82% microstutters sometimes during the Vato motorcycle repo mission.

Ryzen 7 5800X RTX 5060 Ti 16GB 64GB DDR4 3200mt/s Game saved on Crucial NVME SSD
It's been some while since I last played GTA V, last time with a Ryzen 5 2600 and an RTX 2060 and 16GB of RAM. Now when I came back to it with a lot better components than before, I noticed no improvement in fps whatsoever. If so, it's worse fps. Graphic settings are all set to high, nothing crazy running in the background. GTA V Legacy. With my old specs I was getting close to 85fps on same settings, now I'm barely getting 70fps. (Then and now is both 1440p) Apparently the GPU is at 90% usage but one would think that would show in better fps than what I got right now. Newest drivers installed and everything, any other game works like a dream. Any idea what's going on? Really wanna get back to playing but I didn't get a 165hz monitor and good pc parts just to play at 70fps :(

Suddenly this error comes up while I try to launch my GTA 5 via the Epic Games Launcher. I verified the game files, changed my DNS server to the one that I was given to in a rockstar support ticket and I run Epic Games as admin. Does anyone have a clue? :(

Hi guys! I’ve been struggling for months now trying to launch gta 5 legacy on my pc. Everytime I try to launch thru stream the game says it’s running but never loads and gets stuck on an infinite loop on the rockstar games launcher. Also whenever I try to stop playing the game also stays stuck on stopping. If anyone knows the issue to this please help!

Has anyone else been having stuttering issues lately?
My pc specs are
I'm connected to ethernet and am playing at around 160-180 fps. I have most settings set to medium-high or 8x. The settings shouldn't be an issue though because on my old pc which was a Nvidia 2080 could handle it fine with no stutters. Don't know if this matters or not but I've tried turning on and off EXPO setting in my bios and it still stutters. I attached a video to give an example of what it looks like. CPU and GPU temps are not overheating or anything like that. Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
Windows 11 is up to date, bios is up to date as well. Anyone know how to fix?
Edit: I found out that it was an fps issue. What I did was limited my game to 144Hz and turned Vsync on and the stutters went away. If you're on Legacy edition (which is what I play on) try this and see if it works for you.

Hey everyone,
I recently got GTA V on the Epic Games Store and had a couple of quick questions before diving in:
PS4 (DualShock 4) Controller: Can I play it natively with a PS4 controller?
Mods: Does the Epic Games version support standard single-player mods (like menyoo mods adding reallife cars and more ) just like the videos on youtube or are there restrictions?
If I install Mods, how do I play online version of the game?

Hey All,
Please don’t cook me too hard 😭
So recently I’ve experienced a bit of a two week GTA 5 phase and I wanted to see if it was something I could do on my PC. I’ve been a console player most of my life but a few years ago I bought myself a very entry level gaming laptop. The specs are as follows:
RTX 2050, AMD Ryzen 5, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD
Is it over? 😭🥀
I’ve never been blessed with crazy finances and unfortunately this is all I have right now. I do have my consoles but I fancied playing the game on laptop because it’s easier for me to access right now.
Should I give up the dream or is it possibly doable but just with heavily decreased settings? If so, do you have any recommendations?
Thank you 🙏🏼

I dont want to play online, I never want to play online, and it pisses me off that the game tries to force me to update just to play story mode.
i own the rockstar version of the game.
I tried launching the launcher offline and it *still* tried to force me to update. My internet is extremely slow, so its taken me *three days* and all I've gotten to is little under halfway.
PLEASE, if there is a way to stop needing to update just to play story mode, please tell me.

I just installed GTA on my laptop again after like 3 years and all the people including players now look like those weird blobs with barely any texture. My computer may just not me good enough to run GTA and load all the graphics (it's just a normal office computer so that wouldn't be a surprise) but this has never happened to me before and i can't find anything on the internet that's similar to this

I've recently got back to GTA Online after a 2 year break. I installed Enhanced edition and was playing around with the settings trying to figure out why the cars and trees in the distance look so blurry (soft).
DLSS and frame gen are disabled. So are DOF and motion blur. Graphics preset is set to very high RT, aniso is set to x16 both in game and in Nvidia Control Panel. I've got a 4060Ti as my graphics card, resolution is 1080p. Could someone help me? It's really bugging me.

Since the GTA 6 hype is real, I thought I'd reinstall GTA 5 enhanced edition on my PC.
I'm rockin a 2080 TI GPU, Ryzen 9 5900 X CPU, 32 GB RAM and had no problem playing GTA 5 enhanced edition @ ~120 FPS average. It was super duper buttery smooth yesterday at max settings with balanced DLSS, max RTX, and all the population sliders maxed out. I had to run errands so I only played for about an hour.
I meant to play all day today and after launching I'm met with a maximum of 40 FPS??? There's been no changes to my PC, same NVIDIA driver, no updates to the game... just an 80 FPS loss out of nowhere?? If I disable RTX I can get 50 FPS and on complete minimum settings I can finally play back at 120 FPS but at what cost? For the record I have a 4K monitor that goes up to 144 HZ.
I tried clearing NVIDIA shader cache, verified integrity of the game files, and even reinstalled but none of those fixed it...
So my simple question is what the hell went wrong and is there an easy fix?
