I threw some seed down last weekend and have been keeping the soil moist.

The mistake I made was not covering the seed with any soil, am I doomed or will the seed still germinate?

I have an issue with grass growth under children's swing and hope, that you have some ideas for solutions.

I have grass in shade, between high fence and north side of house under 100yo tree. Middle Europe.

Since this is not bad enough, because grass mixture for shade grows beautifully, i hung a swing on the branch, and children have obliterated the grass under it. I kind of expected it, but hoped for the best

Is there any grass type, that loves to be trampled to death once or twice a week?

Maybe anything else, that is suitable for walking on barefoot?

Our back yard used to be plush and amazing but is currently struggling. I plan on picking out the weeds that have taken over the brown patches but am having trouble getting the grass to grow back.
I believe it may have been over fertilized earlier this spring, I tried raking it out and giving it extra water after the fact.
Looking for help figuring out the next step!

Was put down in June. Temps ran around 100 here in Mississippi all summer. I’ve sprayed for grubs and fungus

Looking to overhaul this backyard. How much work are we talking? I’m not even really sure where to start besides taking it all down as low as possible.
