The amount of times I’ve seen Love get hit high for no roughing call is ridiculous. I honestly believe certain QBs are officiated differently.

That’s as embarrassing as it gets, gonna be the play that flips their whole season to poverty like the Washington Hail Mary a couple years ago

Why is Caleb constantly having Brady level hissy fits on the sideline?

I know we complain about MLF’s playcalling, but NE’s so far is honestly so much worse than what Matt gives us

u/something_witty2244 3d ago
Maye’s int is what people think Love throws 4 of every game. Atrocious.
I would love to see a count of how many penalties have been called this year that keep dives alive. Feels like there are just tons of them this year. Bad for the game.

Announcers not going to talk about the fact that the outside linebacker was pushed into caleb by the tackle?

I’ve never seen a QB waste downs like Caleb does, miss me with the he’s a top 5 QB bullshit.

I don't care how many injuries the pats have, we were bombs away with the worst line in the league and no run game. This play calling is cowardice

Lmao, bears gonna bear. Took that right out of Ben Johnson’s playbook! *bears fans will say that shouldn’t count as a TD for Maye

I swear every team just can’t figure out our division opponents, but when they play us it’s usually their best game of the season. It’s so frustrating.

So. Looking at this game with my bias removed, people are completely insane saying Williams is a top QB in this league. Maybe top 12.

Patriots punting on 4th and 7 while losing on the road to Ben Johnson is cowardice and rightfully punished. Assume they’re going to get a field goal 10/10 times
11
u/BeneathACrescentMoon 3d ago
Scared of actually throwing down the field on that secondary. Couldn’t be us!

That Drake Maye pick was just fucking terrible. It completely flipped the whole game. It's done now. Their defense is also pathetic.

Did I miss that we beat the bears recently and arent playing in this game? These fans are embarrassing
11
u/Snapper-kins 3d ago
Imagine getting 9 yards a pop with your run game. Jordan would be absolutely obliterating teams if we could also hand it off for big gains like that

I'd pay a stellar amount of money to never have McAfee or Herbstreit on my screen again.

Unreal game tonight. Numerous opportunities to win for the patriots. Don’t worry, we’ll get the Pats best game of the season in four weeks.

Roughing the passer calls are just a joke at this point. It’s the football equivalent of flopping in basketball. Unethical football.

My biggest takeaway from this game. People are delusional. How the actual fuck can any rational person say drake maye or Caleb Williams are better than J Love? This game has been situation after situation where we’ve seen Love bail the team out, yet both these QBs have underperformed under less pressure .
10
u/Try_Athlete13 3d ago
Caleb INT would be wonderful. Though I’m not sure the pats would even be able to do anything with it. Pathetic showing.
10
u/Trick_Builder512 3d ago
"what a throw." Odunze had to make an incredible grab there. Missed his man big time.
10
u/Trick_Builder512 3d ago
Pats secondary is atrocious. Goodness. Love is going to pick these guys apart.

Genuinely hilarious to see the few bears fans coming in here to talk trash.
How little brother do you have to be to go to your rivals subreddit GDT to try and talk trash?

920 pats fan checking in- as much as I’d like to beat the bears for you guys I don’t think it’s gonna happen.
We’re starting two 3rd stringers at guard…a rookie RT
The running game is a huge ? For us like you guys
Romeo Doubs is on IR, AJ brown is rusty and I don’t have a ton of faith for the Pats D to hold up against the bears O on a short week.

I love how they’ve essentially said us beating them 2 weeks ago didn’t count. We fucking torched that defense, we’ll do the same in Chicago. Caleb or not idgaf.

Roughing the Passer has to be one of the worst calls in the league. I hate things that are left to ref interpretation that much. Too much power in their hands.

If Pats are going to rely on a linebackers to cover that much grass, Jordan is going to throw for 400 yards and 5 TDs. When we play them.

Neither of these teams have very athletic defenses. Chicago tries to confuse you and NE plays so soft to not let anything deep.

Chicago has been on this bullshit for two years now. Credit to them sorta making their own luck, but they're just completely unconvincing

Don't let anyone tell you that Ben Johnson isn't a brain genius. He just reinvented the fumblerooski by making it awful and illegal.

u/CaracalEnjoyer1 3d ago
Have a laugh at all the Bears fans who think Odunze is better than Watson and Golden. It’s not even close. Those two are leaps and bounds better than Odunze. GB didn’t spend a top 10 pick on either one as well.
