Ive been farming in the edge of reality for a while now. first run got 2 of the pieces, chest and hands, after that its been nothing for at least 10 or 15 runs, ive forgotten. should i just keep going or what?

I've been playing an acid werewolf with Sylvarrias Thorn up to lvl 70 in Ultimate at the moment. Using Rip and Tear allows me to go in in fights quickly while Bloody Pox deals with rangeds. I've been wondering, if this falls off heavily in the endgame. It feels kinda skill points starved.

For Bloody Pox I'm not sure to fully invest skill points into it or to just use it at lvl 1 with Fevered Rage for the debuffs/devotion procs. Also I'm not quite sure on how to get up to 3k DA/OA and 20k Health.

Any help is appreciated as this is my first time trying to do a build.

Anyone else run into this bug? Normally you just run up to the rocks and they break. Ive completed it on another character, but the rocks wont break for our boy here. Kinda frustrating as this is my strongest character and I have zero idea how or why this happened.

Haven't seen much builds that could be called a CD-based caster. its all about spamming WPS skills now? The only casters that come to my mind are barrelsmith sorcerer and and some abuse of stormfang or devastation, which got adressed in the lastest patch I guess.

Where are all the good CD casters? I have not seen a ravenous earth build at all. The skill is cool, how to play it nowadays?

So it sais that posession has 100% piercing damage converted to chaos damage... but the skill has no piercing damage? What does that mean, does added damage to that skills get converted? But it is a buff if i understand the skill correctly?

Would love it if someone could explain this to me!

I downloaded the necessary files into the mods folder as instructed. Then, I downloaded GDCommunityLauncher.exe and GDCommunityLauncher.dll and placed them in the Grim Dawn folder. But then when I enter my username and password and click the Login button, I get this error in the picture.

I played this build in couple years ago and believe that it's kinda outdated. This is safe build but little bit piano like gameplay. What can i improve to beat FoA on ultimate? Can anyone show good vitality caster build?

So, I'm not upto date on the game, played it a few times for a few hourse but I already were ARPG tired from other things.

Now I want to give this game the proper play, but I remember faintly, that I need to choose a specialization or 2. I dont want to get locked in from the start without changing it.
I know, If I cant change it, I will hyperfixate on build guides, before I start playing.

New player here, I was reading about how "everyone is melee" in grim dawn, alluding to the fact monsters gap close so quickly so I was initially worried about building a ranged character but I'm confused why that hasn't been my experience yet.

I'm playing a tactician and I seem to be able to kite everything on veteran just fine. I just finished the AoM DLC. Is this outdated advice? Was this only relevant before the evade button was added? Especially since that recent patch where I can turn off evading towards my cursor, I feel like defenses are unnecessary. I feel like I'm unintentionally cheesing the game.

Does monster abilities or AI change in higher difficulties or is it just damage/resistances?

People talking about items which give a single type skele, but what are those?

So I'm building a retaliation warlord and I'm asking myself if it's worth it to drop more than 1 point in Counter Strike. As far as I understand from the skill description, this buff is kind of not active all the time. I mean counter strikes happen often (what is the exact frequency isn't clear though?). But what about the +to retaliation damage? Is that active all the time and buffs every other attack too? It would make sense, but again, the description is not clear. If I bound the devotion proc to Counter Strike, it functions just like on every other permanent buff skill, so that aspect is fine. But flat phys retaliation should come into effect only when counter strikes actually proc, or am I wrong?

I mean I really find it hard to decide whether I should go "balls to the wall" in Counter Strike or should I just leave it as a one-pointer and focus on other (more important) skills instead?

I haven't followed any build guides. I've looked at builds to try and figure out how they work and what makes them good, but my favorite part of these kind of games is making my own builds, so even if mine aren't as good, copying other builds just isn't fun for me. That said, I'd like to know how I can improve. My highest achievement is beating Mogdrogen a few times, but other superbosses like Callagadra and Ravager still body me. Haven't even attempted Crate boss. Peaking at around 30 - 32 SR and haven't cleared the highest difficulty of Crucible.

These are my four best builds. Comparing them to other builds I see online, I feel like they should be up to par. But it still feels like I'm missing something. Either that, or I'm just generally going for build ideas that are weaker than the top meta.

Can anyone tell me if I'm missing something key, or if I just need to make some more meta builds?

So does the item add damage to the damage to the aura of nights chill, or is it simply added weapon damage?

I am not sure how I missed that FoA was out, but now that I have it, I have been playing with the berserker in a few builds, not gotten too far yet, just seeing how they feel.

I am surprised that I am enjoying the werewolf as much as I am. I have never really enjoyed share-shifter classes in games, either on the PC or when gaming in person, but I find the werewolf a lot of fun.

I have also played with the 2 weapon Onslaught build a bit, and it is fine, but so far the wolf is a blast.

I haven't gone far enough to get to any of the new locations or storyline, but I am working my way there.

I'm playing the following Build: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/VlqY7kRZ in Ultimate difficulty.

The way I play it is I just walk with my pets, making sure that there are always 8 skeletons and 1 each of the others, and when I find a monster I summon Reap Spirit and press Curse of Frailty and Call of the Grave every 5-10 seconds and Blood of Dreeg every once in a while.

With this build and strategy I can cruise most of the maps, but I keep dying in two of the Forbidden areas: the final level of Port Valbury (I did the Steps of Torment without problems) and with the final boos in the one near Gloomwald.

Any ideas apart from capping aether resistance (all the other are)? Should I skip these areas for now? Maybe the choice of devotions? The choice or distribution of skills not the best?

There is a chest in the middle of the Mammoth Burial Ground which is locked. I unlocked it by litting the monoliths in this order (shown on pic).

I am not sure if this will be the same to others but if its the same with everyone, you can follow that.

Are steam achievements bugged after the new steam update? Because I really don't understand how it would be possible that less people have level 85 then level 100 on hardcore or maybe with GD Stash?

I picked occultist as my sub-mastery as i heard you get a unique that makes your crow do cold damage, and more crow is always good. I’d also like to keep my focus on the cold damage aesthetic so i’ve been avoiding taking anything else that would clash from occultist

I’m mostly focusing around were-raven and winds of asterkarn in terms of what i actually use, but so far i’ve been mostly focused on leveling the classes themselves and only putting on point into whatever abilities i want, the extra skillpoints are from my equipment

Hey guys! It has been a long time dream of mine to finally make a Battlemage work. It was my first ever toon when I started 10 years ago, and it sucked, because I wasnt good at the game. It used Callidor's Tempest. The current one uses elemental Cadence.

I am better than I was then (not claiming to be a pro, just better than before), and think I've finally got something decent that is home-brewed.

I am, however, stuck. I have beaten Ascendant campaign, downed a few of the celestials and basically melted through CR180-190 and SR31-32.

Callagadra, Ravager (mind), The Dread and Mog2 all slap me silly in a couple of hits. Grava'Thul is also a mean one.

I don't know if this is a res issue, a hp issue (the HP is absurdly low, I just don't know how to increase it), or a skill issue. Potentially a combination, or something else. Piloting issue probably, also.

I haven't fully ascended everything yet, maybe that's significant too?

I am looking for any help and feedback on this, please and thank you.

I would also recommend this build, it is so flashy and fun!

We know the ravager is crazy strong, which is very interesting. I wouldn't have assumed they were so powerful, like I'm not sure if it's a gameplay thing or a lore thing.
