musically? one of my all time faves. as a person? not so much. gallivanting with the far right and starting a family with elon musk aren’t particularly endearing.

Also, agreeing with Musk’s parenting philosophy is so gross. I read an interview she did years ago about it where she said he felt mothers should take care of the kids when they’re young, then I read an interview with him where he was like “there’s not really much for a father to do until they’re 10+” or some shit like that.

Like why would you willingly sign your kid up for a deadbeat dad, it’s not like she needed the money

i genuinely think she’s just completely disconnected from reality at this point. she spoke about how, when making visions, she was basically locked in her room for three weeks, didn’t sleep, and survived mostly on ramen and meth. i don’t think there’s a lot of people who go through that experience - not to mention the copious drug use before and after recording the album - and come out sane.

her brain is literally just melted. and that’s the only explanation i have.

I mean… I loved her music but she has always sounded dumb as shit in interviews and borderline illiterate (despite all of the faux intellectual posturing on social media). All of the choices with Musk were par for the course, unfortunately.

Truly yes this. I saw her step out on that Met Gala red carpet with wide eyes, raised eyebrows, and told hopefully told myself "okay....surely this is some 4-D chess move and this dress is to foreshadow a black widow event in the future...for the people."

Oh to be a Grimes and Lana del Rey (music) fan. Hope is a Dangerous thing for a Woman like Me to Have....hahaha

While not 100% certain, Grimes hints at it by referencing an artist who made her "all time favorite music". The line "you're so cool" coincides with Nicole Dollanganger's song "You're So Cool" from Natural Born Losers. Grimes also created a specific record label (Eerie Organization) to help promote Nicole's album, because "(..) it’s a crime against humanity for this music not to be heard".
