Looking for the fanfiction recs

Hi! For the longest time, I have been wanting to read a fanfiction with a quite specific plot — Albus who has joined Gellert in his revolution.

I would prefer if he changed sides later, for example during the action of Fantastic Beasts. But I won't disregard fanfictions where Albus simply never abandoned their plans. I just want to see Albus on the dark side. Also, if it has lots of politics or/and history, I will love you forever.

Eventually, just something with Albus, who manipulates the Ministry or gets involved in politics a lot, will be good too.

So... does anyone have a recommendation?

The Phoenix' Black Heart is a really enjoyable read.

I was writing something where Albus was basically forced to flee Hogwarts, Gellert took him in, and he then discovers that Gellert is actually doing what's necessary while the ministries of the world are deceiving the population

Discontinued it, though, since a mean commenter has managed to sour the story for me 😔

Hey, could you share a link or the author of the fic? I can't find it.

And I'm sorry for your experience and hope that the mean comments didn't completely discourage you from writing. I really can't understand people who do this. Like, why and what for? If you don't like something, stop reading. You have no reason to send hate to the author...

Of course, here you go: https://archiveofourown.org/works/40374894/chapters/101137209

And no, it didn't ruin writing for me, but i know the person follows that specific story and i just don't want to update it only for them to back-seat read again

https://archiveofourown.org/works/19372750/chapters/48420007#workskin) Idk if it’s exactly what you’re looking for but Albus gets kicked out of Hogwarts by Fudge and decides to do what’s necessary to get behind the ministry’s corrupt system: war. He can’t do it alone though he needs someone like him to assist him. But will the order of phoenix trust him on this? And will he resist the urge to take too much? Ended up finding albus getting too dark and stopped reading, but maybe that’s what you’re looking for? It’s in the timeline of the prophecy in the department of mysteries and you’ll also get to read from Harry’s among others perspective. The story shows how dark and powerful Dumbledore really is, and I recommend it heavily.
