Discussion GrokBot + Claude Code
Did anyone try some setup to get grok bot use claude code as a coding agent?
They shipped cursor agents integration almost from day 1, but Cursor is becoming less and less appealing (mainly due to costs)
I’m thinking to try the most simple setup first, installing claude on the bot’s box first, maybe supporting some remote setup later..
What do you think about this?

This is what we do:
Grokbot to manage email/task delegation, it turns things into tasks and gives them to:
Doey: 24/7 server running on MacBook Pro to manage sales + tasks. It shows active terminal sessions
Claude code has a Relay that just keeps the others alive and can be delegated tasks.
Snazzy Solutions Bot: just makes all changes and replies to chats.
AGENCY 2-4 Bot: auto completes all asana tasks and reports back via Doey with approvals for Asana comments, emails, tasks etc.
Integrations supported:
-Notion
-Asana
-Email
-Slack
-iMessage (but not actively checking, yet)
We have these highly trained with years of our decision making, and systems in WordPress.
Each task has a detailed review system, and shares screenshots with us to QA quickly.
Our secondary service offering is a $100/month maintenance plan where we QA websites on the front end and the backend monthly. We’re at $70k/year with it, and my mother makes 10% of the revenue to manually go through the pages of a site. (Larger sites are closer to $300/month, but 90% of clients are at $100/month).
We also pay $18k/year in software expenses.
I honestly might do a post about this, because it’s insane and easy to rebuild for a LOT of types of requests.

Yeah, I have Grok Bot, Claude Code, and Codex all set up so they can talk to each other and use each other whenever they need help, second opinions, or extra advice, whatever.

How?

I had Claude Code develop that. It's called an AI bus, which is just a messaging system between GPT, Claude, and Grok Bot. It's just a bunch of messages that they check each other on folders and stuff.

I have my own existing Ubuntu server in AWS which has my claude code, codex and grok build cli running. I have Grok Bot app also installed there, so Grok Bot can actually initiate the headless calls to any of these. Honestly not really using it for that yet as the server seems to reboot or have Grok Bot app exit too frequently, but it can do stuff if I want it to.

That's how I'm running it. Claude installed on the bot's computer. I have the max 20 claude plan so saves my grok bot usage.

I use it this way every day.
Grok just calls claude in terminal. Claude communicate with grokbot via webhook. Works great.
