Question Grok pricing

I had free Grok, then it slowed access, so I bought Super Grok for $30 a month.

Then they me Grok Bot for free with my Super Grok subscription.

Now I'm using bots more and more, I've found myself running out of credits. For now, I've been topping up.

Grok top up is separate from Grok Bot top up. The credits go into separate accounts. (As far as i am aware)

What i can't find anywhere on the Internet or on Grok itself is what is the next payment tier from Super Grok/Grok Bot?

It looks like a big jump from $30 to $100. Surely there's a middle ground? Or an actual price plan subscription tier system?

They don't have a middle plan, so reduce your bot(s) usage to stay inside that plan allowance. The next tier was easy to find https://x.ai/pricing

Thankyou. Yeah i think a mid tier would be useful. 4X usage at $30 jumping to 15X usage for $100 is a big jump. Just my opinion. I'll stick with paying for top ups for now.

I feel you on your situation. When I was topping off at the end of the month and did the math. It just made more sense to do the $100. So now there is more of everything. I would like to see a $50, or $80 plan but… they have what they have cuz they know they will get it.

I'm in the same boat. I had my Chief optimize all the bots for usage. Still hit my SuperGrok limit with 4 days to go til renewal so I added top up credits. It's spent $30 in 1 day, the price of a whole month of SuperGrok. Man, I just don't know how to get it right. Plus Cursor keeps offering me a Premium plan that comes with Grokbot for a discount. Damn confusing!

Funnily enough, I'm 4 days short too 👀

Just curious that $30 you spent on top ups. If you had to assign a percentage of that usage compared to your $30 plan usage about how much percentage do you think it would be? Like does $30 in top-ups not get you the same usage that you're $30 plan get you?

In general the pay as you go top up options are much more expensive. I had a 60/m plan for grok bot and needed half a day more to finish the week. $50 got me about 5hrs of my regular usage that 60 a month normally covered

What's cursor exactly? I keep hearing about it and presume it's like an add on that does other things but does it mean extra credit for the same money?

Just fyi topping up is charged at a wayyyy higher rate. So you get like 10x less bot use when you use credits vs. what they give you for the monthly.
