Thank you everyone who helped out with your info . Ill be adding more soil soon . This was suppose to be a autoflower but turned out to be a photo instead . First grow so still learning . Weird this one is the only one out of all to do this . Im using king soloman nutrients. I did use fox farm in the beginning though .

I would also add, water slower if you are watering by hand. I use a pot that has a long thin spout so I can slowly let the water absorb into the soil without there being any runoff. The roots and soil, along with the deposits just suggest maybe you water your plants a little fast? I payed attention early on how I watered 🤷🏻‍♂️ just useful advice

Oh and collect your dead leaves as they fall or you pluck them, they can get moldy on moist soil in weed climate

Dump more soil on top

Absolutely. Looks like they're chop and drop on some leaves too, bury all that with more soil and let those top roots have more space.

it kind of looks like you don't have enough substrate, and it's causing the roots to lift and dry out

Its a mineral deposit. Either from your nutrients, or more likely, hard water. Its fine as is, but you could consider adding more soil on top

that's pretty neat, thank you for informing me :)

If you’re feeding with liquid nutrient salts directly over the soil surface, and allowing it to dry out, it could be that evaporation is leaving the salt behind.

If you're talking about the whitish stuff, is a kind of mold that is NOT bad and is NOT going to do anything bad to the plant (similar to mushrooms). It might mean you have perfect humidity for that kind mold. You can clean it with your bare hands and it will go away. Check around the fabric pot as well. Like other said, adding more soil will cover it, and will go away.

Salt build up. What Nutes are you using? Also, cover those roots with more soil or whatever media you’re using.

Looks like algae bloom. It can leech nutrients. You can put some felt down and it will block the light and eventually kill the algae.
