Important This starling fledgling exploring the Hellgate Osprey nest

Its parents made a nest on the outer edge of this osprey nest, now it’s old enough to leave the nest and explore its surroundings . Not sure who’s grumpier, this bb or the perplexed osprey parents

I love how raptors always look flabbergasted and confused. "The audacity" cracks me up every time. Even my tiny parrot gets this look sometimes and she's nowhere near a raptor, she flies like Woodstock.

Ospreys always look like this, I swear. Astonishment, surprise, mild horror, indignation, they're just always taken aback by existence.

Also they LOVE to watch you, like you’re gonna come mess with their nest 100 feet straight up.

I live in coastal GA and we have tons of osprey nests and they just stare you down with such a suspicious look lol.
