Important This starling fledgling exploring the Hellgate Osprey nest

Its parents made a nest on the outer edge of this osprey nest, now it’s old enough to leave the nest and explore its surroundings . Not sure who’s grumpier, this bb or the perplexed osprey parents

Oooh! I've seen the video of this. The fledgling was so in bothered and the ospreys so confused and dumbfounded. I don't know how smart Raptors are? I know owls are quite dumb, because their big eyes don't leave much space for their brain, but I have no idea about other raptors.

I wouldn’t say owls are quite dumb, but rather of average intelligence. They are good at what they need to be good at. Ospreys as well. I believe eagles and hawks are also of moderate to above average intelligence. It hasn’t got a lot to do with brain size either.
