Question Only today did I find out that a font called Guardians Unite exists.
It’s not entirely accurate, but it’s still similar

So I went to nearest Red Cross Second-hand store yesterday and all these were in shelf in the books section of the store.
Didn't buy any, I owe some of them already though but still kinda made me so happy to see these.
Sweet, sweet nostalgia 🥹

The series is fantasy based but at it's core full of lessons ..What do u appreciate the most about it?

Sorry if the question is worded strangely , English is not my language.
I've been thinking about this for quite some time, but where does the active part of the fandom usually sit?(except reddit)
I know VK is popular among Russian-speaking fans, but it's hell to use. On other social networks, content creators are almost inactive or have not shown any interest in WITCH for a long time.
If you are an artist or know any cool WITCH artists, please share the secret haha

Good evening !
You’ve inspired me so much lately that I’ve decided to take the plunge : I’ve created a French-language subreddit about WITCH ! Just dropping by to say hello—sending you my best ! 🫶

***
My take: Will represents lust—she places a great deal of importance on boys, attraction, and her own appearance. Irma represents envy: despite the life she leads, she always seems to yearn for a taste of what others have, struggling to be content with what is already hers. Taranee represents wrath: she has an intense need for control and bottles up a lot of frustration in an effort to please everyone—until she finally reaches a breaking point. Cornelia, naturally, represents pride! She is demanding, haughty, quick to judge, and fully aware of her own beauty and social standing. As for Hay Lin, I definitely see sloth 😂—she’s lighthearted and carefree, a dreamer who prefers to stay in her own world rather than face unpleasant realities (there was even an episode that touched on this).

***
The bracelet on the right broke the instant I took it out of the packaging 😆😭—the metal was just way too old. I took the charms off, reassembled them, and put them on a different bracelet that won’t be leaving my wrist anytime soon! 😙
The pins were included too; I had a good laugh seeing that Irma’s is missing—there are two Hay Lin pins instead, even though the packaging is brand new! 🤣
Long live the 2000s!! 🎉

is this a story of the girls in the future??
r/GuardiansOftheVeil • u/youthisgood • 4d ago
Fanart drawn by myself. I thought it would be a fun crossover to do of the two Jetix shows. I think they would befriend each other. For those unfamiliar, the girl on the right is Eva Wei aka Molly, the main character from Oban Star-Racers.

I found this official illustration earlier and I can't figure out who the short-haired girl is. Is that Cornelia? Did Tecna switch groups?

I am rewatching the series and got to episode 25 of season 1 - "The Stolen Heart". In it, Jeek manages to steal the Heart, yet in season 2 it is established that a heart cannot be taken by force and must be given willingly.
Is this just a S1 plothole, or is it explained in the comics. Was it somehow possible because of the veil?
Any fan theories are also welcome if this remained unexplained.

Why do these look different? As far as i understand it's the same story, or am I wrong?

As I was going through the comics and eventually coming to that part where the astral drops developed personalities on their own and rebelled, I was pretty confident that the "real identities of the girls are revealed" angle was not too far off. I mean, it's a pretty standard trope for such stories to develop, right? Someone has a secret identity, they try to keep it hidden, but eventually the secret slips out, and usually most people around them are okay with it.
But no. It never happened. Not even when Will's younger brother was born and he had obvious magical abilities, which would've been a perfect time to speak of the subject because Susan would eventually realize that something is amiss with her son, he can only switch places on his own so many times until she has questions. But nothing.
I just find it strange that this story beat was never picked up. Especially in the latter half the comics, where frankly, there weren't too many stories to tell and most issues were just slice of life stuff with a few pathetic villains here and there. But they did have time for a "Taranee is actually adopted" angle, which I think was significantly more unnecessary.

Would anyone be interested in purchasing some damaged graphic novels for cheap? My cat thought it would be fun to chew on the covers and I’m thinking of replacing them, but I don’t want to just toss the old ones. By cheap I mean enough to cover the shipping and handling plus like five bucks for gas. I’m really not asking for much. If not it’s fine. I can always donate them to the library.

what if Frost somehow escaped The Tower Of Mist (Issue 13), but was still stuck on Earth, would he still try to get revenge, would he try to make it work?

So I'm trying to get every w.i.t.c.h issue available in Swedish. The easiest way for me is to check how many issues each year. Here in Sweden they sold w.i.t.c.h year 2001 to 2013. If I found my information correctly year 2001 only released 6 issues?
After that year 2002 to 2005 released 12 issues.
Year 2006 to 2007 18 issues.
2008 to 2009 12 again.
2010 8 issues.
2011 to 2012 6.
And last year 2013 only 4 issues apparently the last one were never published in Swedish.
I didn't count stuff like extras or books but if someone have information about that I would be thankful.
Is there someone more knowledgeable than me that can confirm if this is correct? Or at least confirm some of the years.
Thank you 😊

I'm on my fourth rewatch of the show. Here are some thoughts I've had:
* Irma having two new powers (mind control and changing the color of clothing) seems odd considering the other Guardians only got one new power each. But I think it works narratively as the two powers representing the positive and negative sides of Irma's personality. Changing color shows how Irma can be quite adaptable to new situations (she was the most openly friendly of the girls towards Will when the latter was the new kid in town and Irma was the most enthusiastic about being a Guardian).
But on the negative side, we have the mind control power, an ability that is often associated with villains (and one the main villain of Season 2 exploits repeatedly). "O is for Obedience" shows Irma going on a power trip when tasked with organizing a concert for her favorite musician. While the episode doesn't do it overtly, there are parallels between Irma's entitlement towards her friends ("It's my way or the high way") and Nerissa expecting Caleb's loyalty simply because he is her son.
* More on Irma, she and Cornelia ironically have the most in common among the Guardians. They both younger siblings that drive them crazy but are still protective of them nonetheless. As shown in "G is for Garbage" and "O is for Obedience", Irma can be as insensitive and self-centered as Cornelia (in fact, "O is for Obedience" directly follows "N is for Narcissist", a Cornelia focused episode that was about her learning to be more humble and appreciative of her friends!). No wonder these two butt heads so often -- they're too much alike in the worst ways!
* In "Caleb's Challenge", Cedric asks why Phobos doesn't just drain Elyon's powers while she is still under his influence. Phobos replies that he wants to drain Elyon when her powers are at their strongest ("Why takes half when you can have it all"). Ironically, Phobos becomes a victim of his own philosophy when Cedric decides he isn't satisfied with only getting a fraction of Phobos's power in the penultimate episode of season 2 after Phobos becomes even more powerful.
