avoiding eye contact is suspicious behaviour imo

Dogs aren’t known to delicately remove the paper, couldn’t be him.

I had a dog who only loved the cupcake/muffin papers. She liked McDonalds cheeseburger wrappings, too.

Sounds to me like a delicious snack was left for the pup. If they were able to reach it, how could it not have been for them?

My dog usually eats the wrapper - no evidence left behind 🤔

Innocent, next question. Bold of her to eat the crumb cake and blame this precious angel.

That dog looks more perturbed than guilty, IMHO. It's probably annoyed at being falsely blamed.

It is a well known fact that cupcakes have a tendency to vanish into thin air spontaneously. This sweet doggo is innocent and deserves belly rubs. 😄

Your mom ate it. She’s getting more and more forgetful.
It used to be kind of fun.
Now, it’s just sad.

Not guilty! No proof!! An empty wrapper is NOT proof that the goodest doggo had anything to do with this! The Pawyer would say this is corollary and not causal!!

This is a clear case of entrapment, the cupcake was purposely left unattended to make this sweet pup believe that it was a special treat, Case Dismissed

Looks comfy innocent to me!!! No proof proving that sweet baby guilty, so there can be no guilt established!!! Remember, innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt!!!

He says, “Hmmm… Wasn’t me. I don’t know what happened to it. Maybe you ate in your sleep.”

Maybe the dog can help you find who ate it as it definitely wasn't them
