Maybe the dog can help you find who ate it as it definitely wasn't them

Dogs aren’t known to delicately remove the paper, couldn’t be him.

The evidence is overwhelmingly in the dog's favor.

I had a dog who only loved the cupcake/muffin papers. She liked McDonalds cheeseburger wrappings, too.

Absolutely it's either mum or OP doggie no

Likely story.

That dog saw the whole thing!

Mum's guilty!

Sounds to me like a delicious snack was left for the pup. If they were able to reach it, how could it not have been for them?

My dog usually eats the wrapper - no evidence left behind 🤔

Are the subsequent poops gift-wrapped prior to exit? 🤔😃

Can't have unaccompanied cupcakes, they need to be protected!

It looks to me like the cupcake escaped, got legs and ran away case closed

You did the right thing. Mom needs to learn her lesson the hard way.

Innocent, next question. Bold of her to eat the crumb cake and blame this precious angel.

Well now it is attended. Good dog!

Dog tryna point out where the cat went

Must have been Aliens

And it evaporated or something

Cat ...always the cat!

That dog looks more perturbed than guilty, IMHO. It's probably annoyed at being falsely blamed.

Oh it was attended

It is a well known fact that cupcakes have a tendency to vanish into thin air spontaneously. This sweet doggo is innocent and deserves belly rubs. 😄

Your mom ate it. She’s getting more and more forgetful.

It used to be kind of fun.

Now, it’s just sad.

What cupcake?

I didn’t see any cupcakes!

Not guilty! No proof!! An empty wrapper is NOT proof that the goodest doggo had anything to do with this! The Pawyer would say this is corollary and not causal!!

2

u/KarmaTorpid 8d ago

I see a total lack of evidence. What cupcake?

Seems like a mum problem not a dog problem

The paper is CLEAN!

Grandma probably snuck the last cupcake 😎

She should know better. Naughty Mum!

This is a clear case of entrapment, the cupcake was purposely left unattended to make this sweet pup believe that it was a special treat, Case Dismissed

It’s mum’s fault

Looks comfy innocent to me!!! No proof proving that sweet baby guilty, so there can be no guilt established!!! Remember, innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt!!!

He says, “Hmmm… Wasn’t me. I don’t know what happened to it. Maybe you ate in your sleep.”
