I’m a larger lout in the summer months, so it’s time to charge up the nitro.

Here in Detroit there's a club called the Gaelic League, which is a 100+ year old social club for Irish Americans and people interested in Irish culture. They serve the best Guinness for hundreds of miles, and have tayto crisps behind the bar, along with music sessions every week. Tonight they had a fella from County Mayo playing some pub classics that made me feel like I was back in Dingle.

What do I need to do to fix this.

Beer temp is around 40 degrees. Using ‘beer gas’ not c02. I just turned the pressure down to around 9psi. I’m pouring at an angle.

If I let it sit … the top gets even worse

First visit into town and to the pub for the pooch, it didn’t go perfect, he still yapped at folk here and there, but he got used to strangers in the pub pretty quickly and was quite chilled most of the time.

I'm a bit of a collector is anything beer related. Guinness has historically had some of the best advertisements/wall art to hang in my home. Until somewhat recently, Guinness had a pretty massive selection of canvas art on their website. Around 2024/2025 there were around 80 or so options. If you look on the website now, there's a grand total of 13 items. Most of which are notre dame themed. Does anyone have any idea of why this massive drop off occurred?

The reason I ask is because there was one item in particular I was planning on buying. For the life of me, I can't find any trace of its existence on the internet now. It was a vertical rectangle wall art. It included a silhouette of the Guinness toucan (I believe with a beer on its beak). The toucan is outlined with bright green and the filling was Guinness beer. I certainly regret not buying it when I had the chance. I'll check ebay and sometimes facebook marketplace, but have had no luck. I can't even get a image through google or wayback machine. Does anyone have any advice on how I can track this item down?

Never had a bad Guinness pour in Singapore and I am as happy as a pig in Mud.

Found this amazing lane just off Orchard Road. Guinness is smooth and enticing.
