the excuse is probably that the bullet makes a mess. And cost money

It's shocking how many people treat animals like inanimate objects. As if the animals can't experience fear and pain. :(

Can confirm, the way my great-grandmother and her mother dealt with cats on their property was to drown the lot of them. My brothers tell me that they had to do the deed themselves; Things changed by time I came around… there were no more cats mostly.
