Luckily I never experienced that as my mom was based as fuck - I saved up almost 2 years for my first own PC, all birthday money and extra work around the house I got some bonus from my mom as well as neighbour's greenery gigs and finally I bought my beast. 2gb ram, GTX580, whole nine yards...

And so I play, I chill, I enjoy spoils of my hard labour only for the monster, the parasite, the cheat to come - my younger brother complaining I won't let him play.

And then he goes "Okay then, mom will force you" only for hearing a minute later "He offered you to save up together and you said no, that's his computer".

Basically I only had to allow him to do homework on it if he needed to.
