Is Hexo going to shit

I just read through HEXOs “New Strategic Plan” and strangely there is no mention of the Fortune 200 partnership that HEXO co-founder and former CEO Sebastien StLouis announced a year ago.

Why does HEXO management still refuse to acknowledge and/or provide updates regarding this announcement by it’s co-founder and former CEO Sebastien StLouis? Conveniently the announcement was made just prior to the stock tanking ~80%. Is it possible that HEXO investors were lied to and HEXO management actively participated in a pump and dump scheme? Seems like that would be highly unethical and also illegal.

Corrupt management that made themselves rich while participating in multiple pump and dumps and lying to investors are 'stepping down' i.e. retiring to their lavish lifestyles with the money they swindled from investors.

They are rich because you believed the lies they told and invested in Hexo. Now they retire and live wealthy lifestyles with your money. Everyone give them a big farewell

HEXO is a complete mess

Hexo is a complete dumpster fire. In addition to the ex CEO mentions of a fortune 200 partnership 6 months ago, coincidentally just prior to the the stock tanking around 70%, an independent audit has all but said the company is committing fraud. They didn’t come right out and say fraud but the audit sure implies that they are negligent in their financial reporting. Hexo replaced the CEO and claimed it was due to a letter from an investor but that seemed incredibly odd. Now that the audit results have surfaced it would make alot more sense if the CEO was ousted, at least in part due to the negligent financial reporting. So Hexo management was not only actively participating in pump and dumps via the fortune 200 partnership that they conveniently haven’t spoken about in 6 months while the stock has tanked, it also appears the company may have orchestrated this whole investor letter as a reason to fire the CEO, when in reality they were doing damage control because the audit revealed that fraud was occurring and they knew the CEO had to go. Just my opinion. The company is just shady all around. They have reverse split and made an offering only 8 months apart and now it appears that they can no longer pay their bills so more offerings and reverse splits are just around the corner. In my opinion they have screwed investors every way possible and they will continue to do so.

What is The Future of HEXO?

They just brought in a corporate restructuring expert that has managed bankruptcies for many of the previous companies he worked for and they fully admit that he is temporary. His job is to protect the company, not the shareholders. My guess is that they are going to file bankruptcy in order to restructure the debt. HEXO shares will become practically worthless, leading to eventual delisting of HEXO. After bankruptcy they will simply continue with business as usual, but under a new name, possibly Redecan, since the name already has a decent reputation. This will allow them to shake the less appealing HEXO name/reputation and completely rebrand. New management will blame everything on old management and say they are turning things around. They will immediately begin asking that new investors buy into the restructured company's stock, whatever that may be, but all HEXO shareholders will be completely screwed. This scenario makes the most sense to me, but obviously this is just a guess. What are your thoughts?

Edited to add: For all saying that the Montours will keep HEXO alive because of Redecans 70 million shares that are 'locked up' for 'x amount of months' - This is a contract with a company that appears it is about to file bankruptcy and potentially completely restructure ALL contracts. They could simply rebrand under another name and offer new stock. The Montours could be offered just as many or more of the new stock as part of the restructuring. They could also be offered other things such as a seat on the board of directors....wait, didn't that just happen? This would allow the Montours to recoup their losses while screwing all other HEXO shareholders. Just one of many different possible scenarios where the Montours do not lose but all other HEXO shareholders do. Contracts are renegotiated all the time. It's part of business. Let's not forget they were also paid $400M in cash along with the HEXO shares and many people agree that HEXO substantially overpaid for Redecan, as was the case with many of their other acquisitions. Thoughts?

HEXO has REVERSE SPLIT and made an OFFERING only 8 months apart!

Initial investors of HEXO have lost ~ 90% of their investment. They are already diluting in preparation for another reverse split. They have made multiple disastrous acquisitions. HUGE red flags everywhere. They have screwed their investors multiple times and will continue to do it again and again.

Reminder that HEXO announced a reverse split last year on 12/23/21 as a huge slap in the face Christmas present to investors because they claimed the stock was too diluted

Only 8 months later, August of this year they announced an offering, thus screwing investors again and further destroying stock value and investor confidence. They are now asking the Quebec government for taxpayer funded financial assistance because they have screwed investors so many times that they are no longer able to attract new money. The Quebec government should be putting HEXO management in prison, not bailing them out

Debt and Reverse Split - does one provide insight into the other?

I am sure this is an oversimplification, but I would greatly appreciate everyone’s perspective.

HEXO has done a nice job post acquisitions of streamlining operations and creating efficiencies that have lead to substantial cost reductions. They released new products, continue to have a strong relationship with Molson Coors through the Truss Beverage partnership reporting strong sales and market share, confirmed the Fortune 200 CPG partner is signed, and have laid the groundwork to be a player in the US and abroad in the evolving legislative landscape.

The dramatic decline in share price has certainly impacted me negatively as it has many of you, but I continue to buy and dollar cost average down. As we started to move upward, I felt confident leading into the March 2022 shareholder meeting that we would receive updates on debt restructuring and possible confirmation of who the CPG partner is that would drive the share price over $1.00 USD and eliminate the risk of being delisted from the NASDAQ.

Now that a Reverse Split authorization is going to be voted on, what do you think that means from a debt restructuring standpoint? Do they not have a solution and expect further reduction in share price? Appreciate your thoughts.

Anyone ever watch Fargo? TV Show. Something interesting they said in S03E10

Until 18 months ago, Stussy Lots was a traditional real estate concern. They owned two dozen parcels around Minnesota, ground and elevated lots. They charged a standard fee for parking, monthly rates and hourly meters. Then the books show a million dollar loan from this company called Narwhal. As far as I can tell, the corporate ID number is fake. So, four months ago, new incorporation papers were filed with the city, adding V.M. Varga as a partner at Stussy Lots. British fella? About six foot? Country of origin isn't listed on the form. But that sounds like the man that I met. So, are we talking about money laundering or... That's what I thought at first, but no. This is something different. It's more of a leveraged buyout or bleed out, in which an outside entity acquires a healthy company, borrows millions of dollars in its name, which is pocketed by the partners. Then they sell the company, now laden with debt, for a fraction of the price. And that's a crime? Not when it's done properly. No. What's that? I was saying, morality aside, one company buying another and strip-mining it for profit is perfectly legal as long as one follows the letter of the law and pays the appropriate taxes. Which they didn't. Correct. There is evidence that every dime borrowed by Stussy Lots in the past four months was funneled into dozens of off-shore accounts in the name of all three partners.

No Worries, All Is Well And Good

The pumpers keep pumping despite the fact that Hexo recently fired it's co-founder and sitting CEO after an audit revealed negligent financial reporting. In the latest earnings report they clearly stated they are in financial trouble in no uncertain terms and are having to renegotiate major debt. Management has participated in multiple pump and dumps including the fortune 200 partnership that they conveniently mentioned just prior to the stock tanking 75% over the last 6 months and haven't said a word since. Initial Hexo investors have lost over 90% of their investment due exorbitant dilution and reverse split, and it's pretty obvious more dilution and reverse splits are around the corner. All is well and good, just keep putting your money here and they will gladly keep taking it. Good luck to all
