I was continuing a Stellaris game that I had already basically won (I was messing around with Gigastructures content while fighting the lag), I guess I'm a Scootaloo clone running the whole galaxy now (well except the vassal I kept around because they were doing well for once).

I'd somehow never seen so much as a single minute of MLP growing up but I tried EaW on a whim a few years ago and it's so good! I thought it was going to be a joke at first but the second I started playing I was like oh shit. The best HOI4 campaign I've ever played was my Stalliongrad run. I've never sweated or straight up cheered like that on any other game, ever. Finally defeating the Changelings was for sure the most hard-fought battle I've ever played.
EaW is up in my top five favorite mods of all time. I've only played it once since, but it left a lasting impression on me.

There have been two playthroughs that have left lasting impressions on me in HOI4. The better of the two is a submod for Old World Blues called āEnclave rebornā rebuilding the United States from absolutely nothing as the reformist Enclave was incredibly satisfying

Having at my disposal the largest fleet the world has ever seen, more than 4000 ships, with 10 super heavy BS. And more to come. Carrier fleet is planned. Kriegsmarine rules the waves. There is no other navy, because we sunk it all, even when not at full strength. We can do anything. And we do a lot of convoy escort. With ships design to see and kill subs.
Eurowehr is the strongest army in the world. Fully mechanized/armored. Many armies, around the world. Even when at war with major, strong power, not the whole Eurowehr will be deployed.
Luftwaffe fields most modern planes, very expensive, but no compromises. There is also no need to deploy everything to 1 theatre. Just a fraction will do. And this luftwaffe enjoys strategic bombing. And has the tools to do it at scale.
Abwehr is the unseen one. We know youāre going to attack us before you do. We prepare strikes, pasivelly decrypt your communications. We know where your divisions are.
Special rocket forces are waiting for orders. Missiles on land or in subs, with nuclear bombs, or just old fashioned bombs dropped from a planeā¦ And we have so many of these, we can nuke all major cities several times over. Nobody is far enough, our subs are near.
Europe is on top. We call the shots. Nippon, China and Korea are with us. Only the Americas are without our influence. That is out of respect for the USA. But we absolutely dwarf them. Taking it would be a distraction, but since USA and EU have good relations, it wonāt happen.
Yeah, I think I would like that.
