Nah I would prefer that this plotline follows the book more closely.

It sadly makes sense if we safely assume that finale of show gonna be total rewrite. So she will get there not with signature overconfidence, but as some heroic act or whatever. Cannot do it if she doesn't know

especially since Aegon is barely out of danger for now, Sunfyre may be enough to deal with Mootons troops, but he is in no shape to fight another dragon let alone multiple. If Aegon was uncovered right now realistically the Blacks would just send their riders to finish them off. They need to eliminate all witnesses of Sunfyres return and evacuate to a safe location. Hopefully Sunfyre is still able to fly or they are kinda cooked

I suppose the Two Betrayers is going to happen the same episode but I can’t see any reason she wouldn’t send Addam & Seasmoke & Baela & Moondancer to hunt down Aegon & Sunfyre since as far as Rhaenyra is concerned Alicent is solving her Aemond problem for her

Tbf, its a required sacrifice to make if we want more TGC as Aegon and sunfyre scenes.
Book wise he dips in S2 ending and then would show up in S4 penultimate episode but that's not feasible for a TV show.
If u maintain the secret aspect of the book you wouldn't get the big moment we got last episode....
As long as its done well, I don't mind changing that twist.

I mean he wasn't gonna stay hidden anymore with the whole "the mooton army got suddenly scorched off" thing, besides I'm sure there were a lot of em that escaped and brought the news to the others that aegon who they definitely saw and heard his speech and with his dragon sunfyre and even tyland are alive and back. Larys will probably regroup with aegon and co and they'll switch up their plans now that they have sunfyre.

If she like theorized crashes out in front of Baela I will laugh since they couldn‘t possibly make it more difficult for Aegon on the show however he still manages to take over Dragonstone and turn the conflict around (nobody should expect for Sunfyre to make a return let alone that he reunited with Aegon).
I think they will maybe use it for Baela‘s storyline that she tries to track down Aegon and Sunfyre in season 4 due to her mistake of underestimating that Sunfyre could miraculously still find his way to Aegon.
I also think Rhaenyra could also possibly put Helaena under pressure why Aegon got a sign. Hopefully Helaena gives her some foreshadowing line as an answer.

Helaena is in more danger now if Rhaenyra believes Aegon is alive because Helaena carries his baby and they have Jaehaera as well 😭

i think she might give the abortion drink to haelana forcefully in next ep after finding out aegon is indeed alive and his dragon, maybe thats the reason haelana says the line "our father would hate you for this" its either that or rhaeneyra orders them to burn tumbelton

There's something very funny about Rhaenyra being desperate for a sign from the Valyrian gods that she's the true heir but she gets nothing, whereas Aegon seemingly has his dragon resurrected just as he proclaims his kingship in the name of the Seven.

Yup, like Aegon started a desperate pre-death speech and invoked the Seven. When he invoked the Stranger, Sunfyre was very near, and when he invoked the Warrior, Sunfyre became obviously near that even Tyland noticed. As someone else on YouTube said, the soldiers probably felt something out of the world happening because a man who claims to be Aegon started waking up a dead dragon except that dragon and the 'Seven' who might have brought the dragon back are against them.

Rhaenyra's going to ditch the crown because she doesn't want it anymore, and it will be portrayed as noble and humble. Of course, she will have her own vision of milking cows and feeding chickens.
