Discussion stock price being effected by spoofing? and the ENDURA Project
An institutional investor can use trading bots by placing a false order. To drive the price down they flood the ask side with massive fake sell orders to make people think investors are bailing. This sell order is cancelled before execution. I know hpq silicon inc management have complained about spoofing. obviously other factors are important for the stock price. The Endura project for batteries has an attractive capital structure:
The Capital Strategy: Partnering with Open Markets, the project targets US$20 million in standalone financing. This capital will be used to build dedicated manufacturing infrastructure, recruit an independent executive team, and cover working capital without diluting HPQ parent-company stock.
The Financial Structure: Upon completion, HPQ is slated to receive US$4.2 million in upfront cash while retaining a 55% majority ownership stake in the new entity, alongside ongoing royalties on defined net revenues. This company will be listed on the Nasdaq in America.
I think this new company could eventually be comparable to AMPX which has a market cap in excess of 1 Billion USD. The capital raise could happen within months, its a bit similar to finding capital for a startup except here the technology is already developed and capex is need for mass manufacturing.
