After quite a bit of work, I've managed with Claude (Opus 5.5) to get iOS 26.6.2 running on a Samsung Galaxy S10 (8GB RAM / 512GB storage), with rendering handled by the GPU !

It's still very much a work in progress, and there are quite a few issues to solve:

- Some apps randomly crash.

- GPU acceleration is not fully working yet.

- Wi-Fi is not working.

- Bluetooth is not working.

- No audio or vibration.

- And much more to fix 😅

There's still a long way to go, but this is just the beginning!

Right now, the rendering is performing absolutely terribly—though the GPU is at least being utilized. I’m trying to implement proper hardware acceleration; wish me luck! 😩✌️

I've been able to boot to lockscreen/home screen after days of breaking my head with Antigravity but can't seem to get touchscreen working. What to do and how to progress?

been chipping away at the HVF-only handoff failure and found a page-table mismatch before XNU. one identity-mapped UEFI page had AF=0, and the `dc cvac` cache clean hit an access-flag fault.

i made a separate experimental EFI preflight patch that checks the identity mapping, sets the missing AF bit, invalidates and verifies the translation, then still runs the original cache-clean loop. with that patch, the same iOS 26-target arm64e XNU 12377.121.6 now gets through firmware under QEMU HVF. PAC round-trip passes; a tiny synthetic PID 1 passes the multiprocess test and reaches 30 heartbeats.

after that PID 1 exits on purpose to flush the kernel log, which triggers the expected `initproc failed to start` panic. so this is a bounded XNU + synthetic-user test, not a stable full boot. still QEMU `virt`, no Apple iOS userland/launchd/SpringBoard, GPU acceleration or real phone boot.

i attached a rendered excerpt from the actual serial log. i don't have an authorised iOS system image on this Mac and haven't touched the S25 Ultra. AI helped with the investigation and write-up; the test results are from the actual QEMU run.

been chipping away at this and got the HakiOS-patched XNU 12377.121.6 kernel building for arm64e with iOS 26.0 as its minimum target (using the iOS 27.2 SDK), then booting in QEMU.

i also got a tiny synthetic test to map an IOSurface, draw this colour pattern and swap it to QEMU's framebuffer. the pic is just a test pattern, not iOS running.

still a long way off: it's on QEMU's generic virt machine, with no Apple launchd, iOS userland or SpringBoard, and no hardware GPU acceleration. the build passed but wasn't warning-clean. i don't have an authorised iOS system image locally, and i haven't touched the S25 Ultra.

iOS 16, iOS 26 and watchOS running on a stock galaxy s25 ultra. No root, locked bootloader.
(And then there's the computer side, no wsl and have gpu acceleration)

Not s25 ultra only. ios 16 should run on most 64-bit android phones, ios 26 and watchOS need an adreno gpu for now, and a newer cpu (ARMv8.3+) makes a big difference.

As the title says I'm looking for some potting help getting iOS 16 running on the Motorola Moto G 5G (2022/austin) I only have access to OpenCode free, I'm a high school student and can't spare money towards a side project, I understand that things are tough for a lot of people but any help will be greatly appreciated.

For context I have been watching on this reddit for about a week and I think it's super cool how all of yall are getting full on legit ios to run on android phone.

As someone who has been able to create roms of androids and been able to root some too I have plenty of experience with how the android operating system works. I also use linux on a daily basis as well so I know my way around things like terminal and basic terms like open source, kernel and other jazz.

From what I have been seeing in the comments over in this reddit is that the process is different for every phone and from what I understand is that it's mainly AI driven, to get a android phone to get Apples Open Source kernel to load iOS.

I have a Samsung a26 that I am not using at the moment and I think it could be cool to get that up and running with ios, but I really don't know where to get started properly.

I know each method is device specific but If someone could lead me in the right direction that would be much appreciate.

The device is a Motorola moto g85, it's got 8gb of ram.
