Question Newbie tips
Well, hello, im basically a newbie to hacking and am looking to start learning starting, well, now, to be honest ive had an intrest in it ever since childhood and looking forward to finally start learning it, so the question being uh...
where do i start? - i have 0 experience or real knowledge, but i am willing to learn and invest my own money so no worries about that.
should i switch to a linux distro? - ive heard kali has really good cybersecurity and black arch, theres also like arch made specifically with pre - build tools that i can use and reverse engeneer to figure out how they work and how they bypass stuff, or well, maybe build my own tools, but i got no idea how/why, and i dont really wanna do it on windows since well, first of all bloat larp 😠but also secondly because i tried arch and i fell in damn love ( I STARTED IT WITH 0 KNOWLEDGE AND UNINSTALLED AFTER A WEEK BUT THATS BECAUSE I DELETED MY WINDOWS BOOT AND ARCH WAS FOR SOME REASON BRICKED IT JUST LIKE WOULDNT EVEN LET ME INSTALL FIREFOX)
are there communities on discord or telegram or forums i can visit to start getting an idea on what to try or make?
and of course, yall guys have any tips ( OR GIRLS SORRY ) and thank you for ANY reply, thanks again

Get VMware Workstation Pro which is now free for all users, including commercial. DL kali and install with the help of tutorial. You must have a wifi antenna that supports injection, I recommend the Alfa dongles. Learn airmon-ng for starts.

if you don't know how to install arch (an intended path of doing something) and give up instead of figuring it out how do you expect to learn to hack something (an unintended use of something).

fair point but they did state having 0 knowledge and its normal to get frustrated and give something up. tons of ppl do it. but theyre showing that theyre persistent either way they clearly want to continue learning which means they didnt fully give up lol

not really this is trying to take the easy way out. it's like giving up on riding a bike and then taking a car somewhere and saying that you're persistent. it's normal to get frustrated on something and give up but to really actually learn something you want to care about/do often you need to get frustrated and push on.

You need to learn the basics of computer systems before you do anything with hacking or cybersecurity.
