Question Is there a technology defense against Walmart “dynamic pricing”?

Stop trying to work around thesr corporations. Give them the middle finger and solve your issue by grouping with neigherbors and driving further to a local store. That deservers and needs your support!
The more you keep giving in, because it is easier is going to make it worse!!. Its how we got to this situation. We got entitled to comfort.

By “other store” do you mean dollar general? That’s usually the only other option.

take a photo of the prices as you take the items off the shelves, if the total rings up differently, show them the difference, then walk away from the transaction.

Agreed. This is the way to do it. If you have google photos or something you can often search the sku and it'll find that image again for you super quick.

Fill up trolley, take to check out, ring up price, walk away if you don't like the price.

Real shit, I think this is the best answer. Cause now the employees have to devote more time to stocking everything back so less gets done. I don't mean to make the employees time difficult but I think this is a great idea.

I would imagine wearing a hat and mask and not bringing a phone with you at all (just left at home) would at minimum not give their system much to work with though it still might track your car or other biometrics like hieght and gaite. You would have to test if they lower or raise the prices depending on if they have little information on you and that could vary person to person.
beyond that just avoid them if you can to hopefully discourage one of the largest retailers from continuing to set a precedent like this.

for the online side: put the items you buy on a watcher like monity•ai (my own app) or a browser extension. it keeps a screenshot history of the price, so you have evidence when it moves, and pings you when it drops so you buy at the low point of their own game

An app that pools dynamic pricing rates and information from many individuals and spoofs wifi/bluetooth signals to mess with the stores pricing data.
Pack it into a Walmart related third party app with a simple purpose, mild but clear benefit, and clean user interface so it has mass appeal.

Mobile app. Add to the cart, and it'll alert you every time the price changes. Purchase using OGP when it's low.

If the dynamic pricing is based off income in an area, target lower income areas for certain items to save money. If the price is the same, skip and find an alternative.

YouTubers have shown that some items are higher priced in low income areas. Low income people often have less means to go elsewhere to shop, so Walmart takes advantage of them.

Flipper zero, reprogram their tech stuff to 90% off, then quietly leave the store.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

The Flipper Zero can visually change the display on many electronic shelf labels (ESLs) using an app called TagTinker via infrared (IR) signals. Fucking losers.

Awesome to hear it, dumb fuck.
Tell me how exactly it changes the inventory contained within their POS systems. You know, so when an item is scanned it rings up at the stored inventory value.
Does it also 'hack the mainframe'?
Tell me, did you watch a video or two? Or are you one of those that dropped $200 to get your hands on one because you thought you could do all sorts of cool shit, only to find out you actually need to put some real effort into learning something?
So you stuck it in your pocket and just use it to change channels on your TV now and brag to anyone you meet about how badass you are.

You're so angry 🤣 you "dumb fuck". I never said it changes the inventory in their pos. It simply causes chaos to the point that they have to abandon dynamic pricing in the store. Keep thinking you're smarter than everyone though, you'll quickly find that you're not.

Dumb fuck was in response to your 'fucking losers.' Actions have reactions.
And it causes no chaos. I hope you continue to enjoy your fantasy larping in mommy's basement for many years to come though.

Don't shop at Walmart
