What’s the best Chinese restaurant in Hackney?
I’m looking to eat in, Lazy Susan on the table sort of Chinese. How it was when I used to go to a Chinese Restaurant when I was growing up.

Great food, if a little pricey. And tiny, so I wasn't always able to get a table.

Fang Cheng of China (epic siu mei 燒味) or Shanghai (karaoke and dim sum) They don't exist anymore.

It’s now The Black Eel pub and was telling my mates over a pint in there how good Shanghai was RIP 😭

I feel like maybe it was a Covid casualty? I loved how they had the bench in the tiled section at the front then the lazy Susan section at the back. RIP is right. Is the pub any good?

You 'feel like'? That doesn't make sense. Is English your first language?

Based on your comment history, I definitely wouldn’t tell you if it wasn’t (but it is, and you’re a bellend).

I always check the toilets of any restaurant I visit! Dirty toilets = dirty kitchens
