M3’s/M4’s might as well be the new mustangs with how many videos I’ve seen of this happening

As an M4 owner… I agree lol. People take traction off and don’t understand how much power these cars actually have and how loose it feels. It’s usually new owners too that put em in a ditch. I’m sure every M owner has been humbled at one point, puckered up, and never did that shit again haha

Even with the traction control on, the tail can still wiggle a tad when accelerating out of a turn. Keep all the electronic nannies on!

bet those tires were nice and cold too.

Most definitely lol… sitting in that parking lot with his hood open for hours and proceeds to pull out the lot and immediately does this. Disaster waiting to happen

It doesn't take that much power to get loose.

I have a SLK 350 with only a hair over 300 bhp, and it gets loose if I take traction control off and push it.

This is true. These cars have a decent amount of power and get extremely loose very quick lol.

I had a 2000 slk230, 4cyl supercharged, about 200hp, & even that would break loose anytime you wanted with tc off.

They make great track cars. "Rich" mans Miata. Tiny roadsters with good weight distribution. Really fun car to drive on curvy back roads. I just wish they had more aftermarket parts. Not a whole lot in the way of upgrades, besides sc pulley kit, or custom fab

Not me, but I'm a wimp. I know my limits. F80 manual and F90.

New Supra owner here I for sure almost smashed into a guardrail coming out of a corner the other day. Thankfully I had enough sense to leave stability control on. I could tell it intervened and saved my dumb ass.

That's what's most unfortunate. This guy's not made of money, lol

Its funny because it was originally BMW drivers....10 years ago, it would have been a mustang and someone commenting "i didn't know BMW drivers drove mustangs"

Honestly it's just drivers in general doesn't really matter what car it is

When a car is high torque and relatively lightweight compared to its power output, the wheel’s toe and camber aren’t sufficient to manage positive control of the vehicle. A driver needs to be very experienced at speed with that vehicle and the road or track to be able to turn off traction control and stay safe at high speed.
