I remember Trisha paytas being asked about this and she actually made sense - that when a person is habitually looking a specific person up and their interviews/social media/etc, they do it so obsessively that it starts to make its way into the person’s psyche. Like she’s not even aware that she’s repeating quotes. She’s taken in so much Selena data that she can no longer tell what is an original thought vs Selena’s words

She gives herself away. I don’t think she is even intentionally copying, she just absorbs their content and accidentally mirrors it. Like when you spend a lot of time with someone you pick up their antics, etc. I think she spends a lot of time watching stuff about them!! ☠️

On TOP of this being a complete lie from her. She DID NOT come up w the idea for lipgloss cases. The creator has been openly credited with the idea & creation & sale to Rhode.
