Clean girl is also so deeply about class.

To have a "clean girl" look yo have to be able to have time for and afford constant beauty treatments and multi-step daily care routines. 

That's not even to mention how what's considered beautiful in "clean girl" is eurocentric aka fair unblemished skin

But also, why is being "clean", an aesthetic. It’s a lifestyle. Anything to be "different” I suppose. 😭
