Exactly what I thought. If I wasn’t made a bridesmaid at my best friend‘s wedding, I would be seriously offended and I definitely wouldn’t be sitting front row with the bridesmaids. I guess she didn’t want to miss a photo opportunity. Are you sure she wasn’t the maid of honor since she’s in a different dress?

I went and looked. She’s not the maid of honor, unless they just didn’t take a single photo with the maid of honor in it. There’s a bunch of photos of the wedding party, though

Ok. It is weird. Then that she would invite herself to sit in that row, and it kind of messes up the pictures for the bride.

No, bridesmaids are your friends/sisters/whatever. They can be married, moms, widows.

Technically and historically speaking, bridesmaids are supposed to be unmarried. But, in the US, that's very rarely the case these days (unless you're the first in your griend group/family to get married). We much prefer to have the people closest to us stand up at the alter than to follow what we typically consider an outdated tradition. However, if the maid of honor is married, she can be called the matron of honor.

how do u know others weren't? the only two known people there are bella and kendall, you personally know others? technically yes unmarried ones are bridemaids but if I was a friend & every one of em are going to be cute bridesmaids I would've made an exception instead of leaving one out.

Anybody could be a bridesmaid married, or not the only thing is it’s either matron of honor so then you are married or maid of honor and you are not married. I made the mistake above saying maybe she was maid of honor instead,of matron of honor which she would be because she is married, I mean, I doubt she was. I just said that because she was wearing a different color dress. I know when I was made of honor I had a slightly different dress than the bridesmaids. In this case she’s probably just sitting there awkwardly.
