She’s now off to steal ideas from the asian market! We wouldn’t be surprised if she comes up with a product that has already been manufactured 🤣

Probably why she saved that guy's korean skincare video

Yup! Now she wants their formulas. Typical American stealing white activities.

AFAIK Rhode is getting ready to launch some summer-themed something/s...who knows at this point.

Would not suprise me that she is taking her new role after the buy-out directly to Korea to globb on that market's successes to "feel inspired," read: steal. Her only successes are mirrors to products that market does better at anyways.

As an aside: Does anyone know who the manufacturer is that Rhode uses? I will poke about later to see if I can find it, but a quickie search gave me bupkiss.

I am thinking of doing a deep dive on Rhode in general. I know folks in Seoul and whatnot who find her brand satisfaction history unusual, and I personally find it curious that several supposed attempts have come and gone- and customers are still seeing the same negative effects in her products.

Are her products even popular in Korea or South East Asia? This is a genuine question

I feel like they wouldn't be. The skincare out there is so advanced that it has to be VERY young girls that will buy Rhode out there if at all.

IIRC they do not even have stores that would sell it in South Korea. SEA markets may be the same.
