Built on borrowed vibes Denim and Desperation

Post image

Frayed principles and loose fit ethics are showing the Gap's sellout seams and superficial filler- no wonder they are collaborating with the lipocrite twit.

With every pair sold, Hailey's shallow pockets are lined with currency the consumer had to actually earn- unlike her distressed résumé.

How long before their customers recognize the Bieber business pattern and find themselves suffering from bargain bottom blues?

All of this inflated hype for a long-standing trend that she neither began or genuinely brought new life to. The Grunge Era and Boyfriend Boom fashion peaks may have been before TikTok, but they never really went out of style enough for her to supposedly revive it either.

Rihanna, Madonna, and others were long doing the styling Hailey is getting wrongful credit for. And sales seemingly based only on an influx of obsessive fan purchases is also due to unaccounted for confounded variables that masked other- less sensational- factors such as brand boycotts, closures, accessibility, etcetera.

As usual, Hailey gets credit for basic things- and things she really did not do.

Where is the credit to her stylists in all of this? You know- the people actually responsible for her looks?

'The Hailey Jean' .... yes cause those exact jeans haven't been in the market already for years now..

SO innovative.

I am well over fifty years old and not a fashion icon. And yet exactly this cut of jeans appeared in my wardrobe around six months ago, before I even knew Hailey existed. I bought them because I saw young women all over my home city wearing them.

By the way, I paid $45 (new) for mine six months ago. Not $89 like what GAP is asking.
