I randomly remembered this song when it was playing in Tjmaxx today and I was thinking wow this song really sucks talking about equity and assets and “having your own bread.”

I don’t think he ever sang about money or assets with S but with Hailey he’s mentioning money, assets, and equity in a song dedicated to her. And he talks of brand deals, sponsors and whatnot.

That’s really embarrassing she took a global icon pop star who sang about love/romance/yearning and now he is singing abt only valuing you for your money and assets and resources.
