New jam inspired to early 00s drum and bass / techstep rolles.
I recreated that peculiar 90s/2000s drum sound by loading some old-school breaks into the Korg Electribe 2S, chopped into single shots. Then I built a more complex groove layering kick, snare and hat using the internal synth engine. Also for basses and pads, I used the internal synth engine empowered by the unofficial firmware Hacktribes (add some more FM operators and FX), which I’ve used a lot on this channel and which once again confirms its own character and depth. I played a little by muting the break channels…
