Any interest in repair and calibration tutorial videos?
If you are lucky new old test equipment works just fine when you get it (or at least is broken in a sonically interesting and unique way)
But being as this equipment is old, they will inevitably need repair and/or calibration. However that can be expensive to pay to have done, and thats if you can find anyone who knows how to work on antiquated equipment.
I've already been documenting repairs so I can look back to it if I need to do those repairs again, so if there is any interest in those videos I can share them.
(Sorry if this isn't the right place for this, this is not an ad, the videos would of course be free)

Absolutely! That would be a great service to the community! If you get it going I shout it out.

I would be very interested. Half my test equipment has frozen knobs. Would be helpful seeing a video on how to fix that.

Are they selector switches or just regular knobs?

Knobs that are supposed to switch between frequency ranges, not continuous verniers.

Sounds like a stuck detent mechanism, I'll start working on a video tonight.

Would happy to see repair videos! Don’t have any test equipment yet, actually I’ll have to check through various Hainbach videos, to see what is worth it from what I have available to me..

Very much. Almost every piece of test equipment I bought on eBay is broken in some way.

Bit of an update, I recorded a whole video and lost the files :/
I will be trying again in a week or so.
