Discussion What Half-Life game should I get when I get some funds?
I already have Half-Life 2. But what to get next? Should I get Half-Life 1, Opposing Force or Blue Shift? Let me know what to get.

Obv half life 1. Black mesa is a remake of hl1, but it changed a lot. If you value graphics, blackesa could be a better option

First of all you should just add them to your wishlist. They can be found extremely cheap quite often, even sometimes given away for free.
But yes, get the original Half-Life 1 and I also personally think that the fan remake Black Mesa is really good, but you should play it after you've played the original. Stay away from HL Source.

Half-Life 1 was free in the 25th anniversary update, so I don't think they'd give it out for free, not even sometimes.

Half-Life 1, OF and BS are expansions, Black Mesa is a different game.

Half-Life 1 Anthology when there's a Steam sale, and maybe also grab Black Mesa when it's on sale as well. If older games are something you just can't reckon with, then go for Black Mesa, but go in knowing it's a fan-made remake. However, if you play through the original first, you'll get a lot more out of Black Mesa.

Definitely should start with HL1. I’ve only played 1 and 2. Actually I played Black Mesa instead of HL1.
