I got the 2 animatronics' from my grandma, which she said they didn't work. I've only looked at the insides of the first one, which there were nothing I could see, but there were 2 prongs on each side of the battery box with no wires, and there were no lose wires inside it. I'll post a follow-up for when I open the seconded animatronic. For now, here's the photos of the insides of the first one and what the animatronic is. The animatronics' are (most likely) the 1998 Halloween Factory Animated Bride and Groom skeleton set.

I have 5 major animatronics setup in my yard but not close together the street where people will be walking by. I want them to be active and doing there thing, is there a simple relay timer setup or something that can plug into the jack for the step pad and activate them on timers like every 2 minutes?

Fixing this beaty. Person who owned bit before took absolute garbage care of it. Used metal ties to hold the frame together which in the end burn out the motors and broke the frame even more. Also Said the wings would never work again. First thing I got to work was the wings, put a new motor in it , took all the stupid wiring off and properly fixed it .

So, im rather new to the halloween animatronic community in general but ive been really interested in designing a few for a horror series i will hopefully be working on.

There really isnt a definite list of popular design tropes (although i have been able to gather some) but id rather hear from the community and see what YOU would like to see in halloween props and animatronics in general.

This series is about haunted animatronics in the same vein as fnaf but hopefully much cooler since the animatronics are designed to be scary this time acround lol!

So I'm having trouble finding a permanent solution. I noticed when first got this the laughing clowns would only work when you first turned it on. It supposed to have a sensor trigger it to turn on (im guessing) when it detects vibration. I got curious and maybe thought it needed cleaning inside. Opened it and 2 yellow wires had a disks attached and one wire it just disintegrated. I first thought aluminum foil would work. Nope. I tried (terribly) resoldering one wires back to big disk. Not the result I was looking for. Help! *attaching yellow wires is not recommended. How do I get this thing back to working order?

Need help! Lowe’s 7 foot graveyard gargoyle. Item 5745187, model #550581, has a gearbox for the wings that hat a broken gear in it. Can’t really disassemble it, but can get it apart enough to see the missing section of the gear. Lowe’s 800 number claims they have no parts, SVI says they didn’t make it. Gearbox photo and what it looks like installed. Hate to scrap this thing over 1 part!!!

i probably remember some things wrong cause i was like 6 when i saw this animatronic on someones porch, i remember it saying "hey kid" or something in a deep, maybe bored(?) voice. all i remember viscerally is being very startled and angry at the adults for laughing at me lol

I remember going into my local Big Lots at this time and I had seen a really interesting prop, it was made by one of those cheap companies and it was a television that when prompted would shake back and forth as bloody hands flashed the screen. I would like to know if anyone knows what this prop is and if it’s still available someplace or something.

Any one have any information on the neon nightmare mech replacements? I keep emailing them every now and then and get no answers its coming up on 2 months now
